We really enjoyed the time in the wooden box. It is very carefully furnished, also with a very cozy terrace, which we enjoyed after our long walks. The place was very clean, everything you need was there every day, we didn't miss anything. Lena and Patrick are extremely warm and accommodating hosts, we felt like good friends. Freiburg has inspired us very much, the city has many interesting historic corners, which we gradually explored on foot, plus good restaurants with super friendly service and lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were not able to visit all the sights in the area in just a week, so we decided to come back again. From the heart, we wish Lena, Patrick, Lou and the whole big family all the best! 🍀🌞

Sarah & Jean-Claude are real super hosts, very friendly, helpful and reliable! They always responded to our messages immediately. We were personally welcomed at check-in and received helpful information on how to use the accommodation. There was even a basket of chocolate eggs on the kitchen table as it was close to Easter! We immediately felt at home. Everything was very clean and the kitchen fully equipped. Due to the large windows, the house is very bright. The large terrace with various seating and umbrellas invites you to relax. The situation is extremely quiet. The villa is an ideal starting point for excursions to Murten, Fribourg, Neuchatel, Lausanne, Bern, various lakes or into the mountains. We had a great time in Wallenried and would book the villa again right away. Thanks again to Sarah & Jean-Claude for the hospitality!

Catherine and Betti offered us a wonderful stay, they are very welcoming and everything is clear thanks to the welcome book provided. The setting is beautiful, with meadows just behind the house. Lots to do in the area, including Fribourg, Morat, or a little further away Neuchatel, Gruyères or Montreux. The accommodation was very clean, well-equipped, spacious and bright

Very welcoming and very well soundproofed accommodation. I was on site to work at night in Freiburg which is 10 minutes away by car or by the TPF line. TPF Station is a 2-minute walk away. I was able to sleep very well during the day in quiet unlike other places. I came back the next week to finish my construction site and everything had been cleaned although I told the host that it was not necessary if there was no reservation during the weekend. I will definitely go back if I have to go back to work in the Fribourg area. Eric
