Well appointed and clean room with ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, couch and desk. A very comfortable stay, with a private entrance and garden area. The hosts David and Kerry are amazing, they made me feel right at home from the small treats and welcome goodies they left in the room, to showing me the local sites, public transport routes, walking trails and restaurants.

Beautiful house with amazing views. Clean and tidy. Well organized with all facilities. Enjoyed staying here. Simon is very friendly host and communication is easy. Highly recommend this place.

An absolutely gorgeous house in an idyllic spot, overlooking the Wellington Harbour. Guthrie Cottage had everything we needed, and nothing we didn't. The beds were comfortable, the central heating was amazing, and the water pressure good. The ideal location to get away from any hustle and bustle, and to be lulled to sleep by the sea on your doorstep. We had a very peaceful, relaxing stay at Guthrie Cottage - will be back!

Thank you Tania. Absolutely perfect for my daughter and I. We are country lovers so this couldn’t have been better for us. Loved looking at the horses out the window / door. Loved the sounds of the birds in the evening and the morning. I got a little confused finding the cottage at first as I went up the left driveway to the main house, not the right driveway. But was able to get hold of Tania promptly and she was able to redirect me. This is a beautiful rustic type cottage with the space really well thought out. I didn’t mind the kitchenette in the bathroom. Obviously as long as you keep everything sanitary as you use it it’s not an issue. Kind of the same situation if you were to stay in a caravan everything is close together amenities wise. Was nice and warm and super cosy. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much for your kind, friendly and inviting hospitality.

What an amazing place, with a view even more stunning than it appears in the photo! Everyday I felt compelled to take a photo of the constantly changing scene laid out in a 180 degree panorama. Benoit was a very thoughtful and responsive host, and it was everything my family (two adults, two kids) needed for our visit to Wellington. It is a very comfortable and beautiful house, and a handy location including shops a few minutes drive away and a great cafe a few minutes walk down the path. Although looks a bit out of town on the map, it is a short and easy drive into the city. Oscar the cat was soon part of the family and our son was very sad to say goodbye!

Was great to have the space for a family get together. Was warm in bedrooms but needed the fire in the kitchen.

Fantastic house for our young family, we stayed in August and it was nice and warm. Location is great, as well as the view. Good value for money. Really loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom and having the heat pump on when we arrived was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect place for my stay in the capitol. Ticked all the boxes for me and was a pleasant place to stay. Very friendly host always makes a difference too.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is super clean, modern, tidy and has new appliances and so on. It felt quiet and private and has a big back yard and off street parking. Our host were communicative and responsive, and check in was super easy.

Alicia was kind and responsive all the time. My family enjoyed staying at the place with lots of outdoor activities and relaxing environment at home. We felt like at home. Can’t ask more. Thank you.

Haiying's tree top apartment is absolutely delightful - with stunning views of the bay and Wellington. We loved our short stay - just wished we had longer to enjoy it!

This is a very nice and cosy place to stay. We are a family of four and all fitted in nicely. It was well situated close to shops and an easy drive to the aiport and the beach. It is very well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and much more than you would expect. Even lunch wrap. The bathroom is nice with a good shower and a lovely bath. The lounge is cosy. We had a great stay and would stay there again. We met the hosts Hikaia and Wutee and they were very nice. I highly recommend it.

A lovely quirky abode. I very much enjoyed my stay. Warm and dry, a great host, and an excellent shower.

You couldn’t ask for a better location, in the heart of Wellington. Our family loved our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. I especially appreciated the laundry facilities as we were traveling with our toddler and 12 year old. Sally even had some detergent for us to use! (Keep in mind NZ machines may not be what north Americans are used to, use supplied detergent and instructions!) I was aware of how lively and loud Cuba street can get but if your family is sensitive to noise, cuba street can seem too loud for some. I hope I can stay in this beautiful condo again soon!

Grace’s apartment is extremely well located for a short visit to Wellington, minutes to Lambton Quay and all the transport options and shopping available there. Considering it is located in the CBD the traffic and city noise is not intrusive , even with the bedroom window open. Lovely selection of tea and coffee available, good cooking facilities should you want to self cater.

Great place, handy to the University and the cable car to get down to the city. Perfect for what we needed.

Brenda's place was perfect for us. She was very friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed, and it was very clean and tidy. A very short walk to Kelburn Village with its amenities. The neighbourhood was very nice and we were able to walk many of the trails in the adjacent Botanical Gardens. It was lovely and we hope to stay there again soon.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay. We were greeted on arrival, with quick and timely responses as we made our way to the location. Immediately we felt right at home. A booklet was provided with information for all the amenities, alongside recommendations. The apartment was very warm and inviting, and the beds were really comfortable- we all slept incredibly well! Check in and check out we’re really easy and flexible, and it was nice to have a space for us all to chill together! Thank you 😊

Carolyn is a fabulous host and her home is incredible! We had a large group of 11 adults and 5 children stay and the home was absolutely perfect. The house has absolutely everything you need and that view is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s definitely hidden gem in Karori. House is actually even better than that in photos. Will be back again!
