Duffus House Lodge - rural retreat

The Lodge is a traditional gate lodge located at the entrance to Duffus Estate, on the edge of the small village of Duffus. Set in from the Elgin/Duffus B road, it is surrounded by Estate woodland and open fields which are home a host of wildlife, such as our cheeky red squirrels or shy roe deer. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs and you can explore the network of paths across the Estate and beyond. Duffus is only 2 miles from the magnificent Moray coast with its unspoilt sandy beaches.

Mosstowie, 10 minute drive from Elgin. Double bed, single bunk bed and a king size sofa bed. Underfloor heating during the day, a seating area and a dining area with table and 5 chairs with a smart TV. It has ample storage for luggage and clothes etc. Bathroom: toilet, shower, sink. kitchen: oven, fridge, 2 ringed cooker, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster Outside: seating area, decking and a bbq. We also have 3 highland pet cows over the fence and my 2 VBN sheep are nearby too.

The house is well located for Elgin town centre which is a 10/15 min walk.2 parking spaces are provided. It’s a home from home with new decked outdoor seating at the rear. Gas central heating. 2 double beds, kitchen including air fryer , bathroom. Please check the house rules, additional information for any questions you might have which might help when looking to book. Distilleries all a short drive . Glen Moray distillery a 10 minute walk . Woodend Retreat nestled in the heart of Speyside

A beautiful and tranquil setting, which is peaceful and relaxing. Facilities include a double bed in the main bedroom and a large sofa bed in the lounge area, both of which can be used as double beds or split into 2 singles. The property is a converted attic space and therefore has a sloping ceiling so be careful not to bump your head! We are in the heart of the Whisky Trail with many distilleries nearby, so a visit and a wee dram is a must!
