Cozy Cottage on South Shore. 30 min from Halifax!

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. Ian and Sandi’s family cottage was perfect, like finding a piece of paradise. It was even more beautiful than the pictures and descriptions portrayed. Beds and linens were amazing, kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. It’s spacious both inside and out. We can’t wait to go back.

We loved our stay by the sea! Lots to do in the area (you’ll need a car)—we came before the usual season and had so-so weather but even rainy days spent reading in this cabin were a delight. Great amenities and kitchen was well-equipped.
