Holiday rentals with a patio in Mifflin County

Amy was so thoughtful with all the small amenities she provided, it made us feel right at home. The fireplace was a cozy plus. the place was spacious and so clean and updated.

We visited the area to attend a graduation at Penn State and it was the perfect place to stay. Amy and her husband were so welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. They were thoughtful with prepping the apartment with some toys for our toddler as well as setting up a pack n’ play which made our stay so smooth. We were minutes away from the Penn State campus but the neighborhood was still quiet. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quaint, comfortable place near campus.

Wonderful Stay with Jill – Highly Recommended! My family and I recently stayed at Jill’s place for four days during our vacation, and it was a fantastic experience. Jill was incredibly helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. She provided great local tips and was always available to assist with anything we needed. The accommodation itself was lovely — clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It offered good value for the money, providing all the amenities we could ask for. The location was convenient, and we enjoyed our time exploring the area. Overall, our stay was delightful, thanks to Jill’s hospitality and the quality of the place. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay with family. We hope to visit again soon!

The apartment was charming on a quiet street abs was decorated wiry lots of Penn State pictures and even reproduction of the Lion Shrine ! Leroy and Kelley were very responsive to my questions and flexible as we added our daughter to the trip who slept very comfortably on the apartment couch. Special treat was a picture of Penn State’a only Heisman Trophy winner John Cappaletti who also went to my high school (Monsignor Bonner.)

Megan was a great Host! Her home was perfect for our stay. Came for a graduation at PSU. I would definitely come back to stay again! Home was well equipped to easily get comfortable and feel at home. Surrounding area was so beautiful to take walks around the neighborhood. Everyone in the area was so friendly and welcoming! Also, great recommendations from host as well as neighbors. Wish would could’ve stayed a couple days longer. Lastly, although this is more of a review of the area, we fell in love with Sheetz! We don’t have them in Southern California, and was so excited to go there! Thank you again Megan!!

Joseph is a great host; he offered excellent suggestions for local hikes, attractions, and restaurants. His place was spotless, and it was stocked with a nice selection of coffees and snacks. Mills Springs is a perfect location to explore the Central PA mountains; the Poe Valley Area is remote and beautiful; there is a scenic easy hike around Colyer Lake, which is only 15 minutes from the cabin. The location is ~20 minutes from State College and 25 minutes to a charming small town called Bellefonte. I highly recommend Joseph as a host and his cabin as a place to stay for a relaxing visit to the central PA mountains.

Very nice and right in the center of Penn State area. The place is loft style, has everything you need. Bed is comfy and the fan was a nice perk! Mir was very accommodating and we appreciated all the little touches that made our stay wonderful. Would definitely stay here again

My family and I wanted to kick off the summer properly. This home was more then we expected - between the space, the land as a whole we felt right at home. Walmart was 7mins away driving. Vonte was very communicative, nice, respectful, and proactive with us! Thank you!

Natalia had a perfect house!! It was exactly as the pictures showed, and better! The house was immaculate, comfortable, beautifully decorated and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The coffee bar was a huge hit and the outside patio was beautiful and comfortable for evening cocktails. Communications with Natalia were wonderful and check in was easy. We are hoping to come back next year!!!

Fantastic place to stay! Super clean and good size space for our group. Joseph was super welcoming, helpful, and responsive to any questions. Definitely would return in future!

We had great get away and this home was absolutely perfect. We loved the view and it was very cozy and beautiful. We had nice movie nights and overall was just perfect. Definitely recommend.

The "Colorado Cabin" greatly exceeded our expectations. The only mistake we made was only booking the home for a weekend. (We've corrected that by booking a 4-day stay for the Fall!) Our hosts (Doug and Ashley) were quick to respond to our questions. The home was spotless. The place was well stocked from the bathroom (plush linens, all sorts of soaps and creams) to the kitchen (bottled water, more condiments than we could ever use, coffee). And to top it all off, a "Welcome" gift. We gave Doug and his team an unqualified "10" on a 1-5 rating scale. ---Mark

Our family of four stayed here for a long weekend so that we could visit extended family members in State College. This home was perfect for our needs, as everyone had their own bedroom and there was common space for visiting and meal times. For being a smaller house, the layout felt very spacious and comfortable. Everything in the house was well-maintained and scrupulously clean. The back deck and large yard were just lovely; we saw deer and other wildlife every day. The neighborhood is very cute and quiet. People wave hello when you drive by them. The hosts were communicative and helpful; they truly want you to have a nice stay. We would be delighted to stay here again the next time we come to town.

Nice, old rustic house has been modernized with nice decor. Jennifer was responsive and such a sweetheart. There were multiple folded towels and washcloths on each bed with a chocolate mint added, various toiletries multiple throws/blankets, and TVs in every BR. I brought my service dog and it was a joy to see entrance separators so I could close off the steps outside but sit back on the deck with him and enjoy the weather and view. The game room was a special touch along with the hot tub, and four BRs with Queens and Kings versus smaller size beds (i.e., twin-size or full). The house was fully stocked with everything one would or could use from a myriad of kitchen utensils, kitchenware, spices, etc. Each BR and living areas are individually controlled, which is great, but the the heating/cooling system could use some tweaks and perhaps upgrades. Some cobwebs on the ceilings of one of the bedrooms so some dusting inside and on the deck. Overall, peaceful; loved it!
