Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mifflin County

Keppy and Ron’s home and hospitality exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed at many properties and this was easily the best of all on every level! The photos do not do the property justice. Their kindness and attention to detail really blew us away. We were incredibly cared for and well fed!

Such a pleasant house with all the amenities you need. The furnishings are beautiful and add to the charm. The space was perfect to host our family for graduation weekend. Large open sitting area in proximity to the kitchen with a large dining room to accommodate the whole family.

I've stayed at quite a few AirBNB's and ths was among the best. The space didn't look like an after thought or a place for second hand furniture. Everything was spotless, towels all matched, as did the bedding. Nice artwork decorated the studio. Everything you'd need was provided in the kitchen and bathroom. Roxanne was very accessible and accommodated all questions. Very comfortable and pleasant for two people.

Cheryl’s home was above standards with flexibility for our stay, accommodations we needed to give us plenty of room while also being cozy, and was priced well for the area when comparing to other homes. We were given the flexibility we needed while staying with our baby and family. When we needed something during the stay, we could count on Cheryl to respond to us within minutes. Check-in was so easy and there were simple steps during our checkout process that didn’t seem too overwhelming. We will definitely be staying again as it was central to both sides of our distant family.

We had a wonderful stay at Antoinette Marie's home. We were in the area for work. We appreciated having such a clean, comfortable, and well air conditioned place to come home to at the end of our long days. Her home was everything that was promised and more. It was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. Highly recommend! We are already booked for August.

We had a great stay! There was a little hiccup with the code and the door unlocking but she was very responsive and helped right away. Very nice cozy place to stay!

Fantastic place to stay! Super clean and good size space for our group. Joseph was super welcoming, helpful, and responsive to any questions. Definitely would return in future!

The "Colorado Cabin" greatly exceeded our expectations. The only mistake we made was only booking the home for a weekend. (We've corrected that by booking a 4-day stay for the Fall!) Our hosts (Doug and Ashley) were quick to respond to our questions. The home was spotless. The place was well stocked from the bathroom (plush linens, all sorts of soaps and creams) to the kitchen (bottled water, more condiments than we could ever use, coffee). And to top it all off, a "Welcome" gift. We gave Doug and his team an unqualified "10" on a 1-5 rating scale. ---Mark

My friends and I had a wonderful one-night stay at this beautifully decorated Airbnb, where everything is Penn State-themed. It brought back so many fond memories! The location is perfect—close to State College and easy to find. The place was sparkling clean, and the host was incredibly warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here for a cozy and nostalgic experience!

I found this place last minute, and so glad I did. Kat was an amazing host! She was super helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. I felt very comfortable and cozy at her place. It is right next to lots of shops and restaurants too. And the bonus is that she has the cutest cat :)

Amy was so thoughtful with all the small amenities she provided, it made us feel right at home. The fireplace was a cozy plus. the place was spacious and so clean and updated.

Rada was a great host. I had to shorten my stay after staying there for a few days, which was quite unreasonable. However, she still nicely accommodated my request. The location was also great, right next to the Tudek park, and very nice bike paths nearby.

We had the most amazing stay for a wedding at the local winery. The space was beautifully decorated with so much thought and care put in to every detail. Checking in and out was a breeze and Joanna was incredibly sweet and helpful. Do not pass up this space if you're in the area. We hope to return sometime soon!

Everything as advertised

Very comfortable relaxing place to stay with a peaceful stream gurgling in the background. There are cabins in the vicinity but they are in the distance so the setting is fairly private. Good hiking trails in the area.

Stayed here for sprint car races in port royal. Andrew & Sarah’s cabin was perfect for a great weekend away! The weather was not the best but we made the best of it. We were able to enjoy the fire Saturday evening. We were welcomed with a welcome basket filled with s’more supplies. So that was very thoughtful! We plan on coming back next year!

I liked the house. It was new, clean and private. EV charger is an extra plus. Penn’s Cave and wildlife is a good place to visit and Harshbarger’s Sub is a restaurant I recommend. If I have to mention something to improve, there were lots of ants. I highly recommend this place.

We were 12 guys riding motorcycles and had a great stay here. We stayed three nights and rode around the great twisty roads in southern PA. This place was perfect. Every guy had a separate bed to sleep in and the 5 bathrooms came in handy. The place was very clean. The driveway is paved which is a big asset for bikes. The host let us store our bikes in the detached garage. The house was fully stocked. All we needed to bring were our cloths and food. Everything else we needed was there. I highly recommend staying here if you are someone who wants a quiet and secluded place to relax. You will need to drive 20 miles to nearest supermarket and the nearest gas station is about the same distance away. This was not a problem for us. We spent our days riding. There is a very nice little Amish Cafe about 15 miles up the road.

Everything from the check-in to the check-out was perfect. There was nothing missing and the house was fully stocked. Very lovely stay and great hosts :)

Gary is an amazing guy, welcomed me with open arms and even gave some history behind the cabin. The view is absolutely gorgeous and his dog is so adorable I just wanted to take him for the weekend 😂 ❤️ will definitely be coming back soon!

Very nice cabin. Clean and comfortable, felt like home. Nice and secluded, beautiful area. Had everything we needed. Really enjoyed touring the area. Deb was a great host. Highly recommend.
