Wellkom in the Kijkhut that is centrally located in the north of the Netherlands. The viewing cabin is 15 minutes from Groningen. The Westerkwartier is characterized by the beautiful scenic landscape. The provinces of Drenthe and Friesland are just around the corner. Half an hour away is the Lauwersmeer area and the boat to Schiermonnikoog. We do not serve breakfast as standard On the morning after arrival, breakfast is free of charge on the basis of up to 2 people. The days after that you can order breakfast for €20 p.p.

For the lover of peace and space. In the middle of the beautiful scenic landscape of the Westerkwartier is our farmhouse. We rent out the old chicken shed as a Bed and Breakfast. In the area you can feel free to go hiking or cycling. Directly at a junction route. Public transport and a supermarket are within cycling/walking distance. Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

You have a private entrance and you can also use a seat under a centuries-old linden tree. The cottage has a kitchen/entrance. A living room and a shower/toilet area. Breakfast is available for 13 euros per person. Please note : the bed cities are smaller than a double bed . The 2 bed cities in the room are 200x115 and the bedstee in the kitchen is 190x120

A village where you can shop deliciously and have a choice of several restaurants in the evening. The city of Groningen is 15 min away by car/bike 1 hour and 20 min by public transport.

This rustically furnished holiday home in Burum located on the border of Friesland and Groningen is equipped with every comfort. Such as dishwasher, wifi, washing machine, dryer, smart TV etc. The house has just been renovated and luxuriously finished. Here you can enjoy the peace and nature. Burum is located near the Lauwersmeer area and is also a good base for going to all kinds of beautiful places in Friesland and Groningen. The entire ground floor is wheelchair-friendly.

The accommodation, with its own entrance, has been recently renovated and is completely furnished for a comfortable stay. During the summer, the spaces are wonderfully cool and cozy during the winter. The accommodation is within walking distance ( 5 min.) from the station ( train + bus). By car, the accommodation is easily accessible, a short distance from Juliana Square, where the A7 and A28 intersect. Free parking on own property.

Our Lindehuys is built entirely of wood and is located in our spacious green garden. You will have total privacy in this cabin. There is a shower and a toilet. Furthermore, some basic amenities such as a kettle, Senseo, microwave and fridge. The center of Leek and also the estate Nienoord with castle and Rijtuigmuseum are within walking distance . Groningen can easily be reached by bus, by car you can be there in 20 minutes.

From your bed you can look out the garden or into the forest.
