Ibbenbüren city center is 3 km away and within walking distance. A fully automatic coffee machine is also available. Located on the ridge of Tecklenburg, the house with a spacious sun terrace and conservatory offers a magnificent view of the Münsterland. The heart of the house is a cozy tiled stove. After long hikes, a sauna invites you to relax.

Our apartment is located directly on the beautiful Buchholz, a part of the Teutoburg Forest, which invites you to jog or walk. In the immediate vicinity is the marina yacht harbor (approx. 2 km), the special forest outdoor pool Recke (2 km), the sauna "Schwefelbad Steinbeck." The destinations Tecklenburg, the "Tödden" hiking trail, the Teuto-Schleifen, the fairy tale forest with summer toboggan run, the squatting woman are also easily reached by car.

Historic Farm House in Countryside

This type of house is known as " ein Heuerhaus'. It was built in 1883 and is one of the few remaining such houses in the area. We renovated it in the late1980's and it is recognised as a National Monument. The area we converted into the appartment for our guests, was originally used for storing the hay and straw for the animals winter fodder The house is surrounded by a large garden and uninterrupted view of the countryside.

Beautifully integrated into a half-timbered ensemble, our Hüsken offers direct access to its own garden with sitting area, fireplace, barbecue, parking space and covered accommodation for bicycles. A wallbox with 11 kW is available on the premises at cost.
