A wonderful stay even better than expected! Such a lovely place in a beautiful setting the perfect countryside escape. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the Annex had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. My two children absolutely loved it and are now dreaming of living on a farm! The thoughtful touches like cereal, milk, and coffee waiting for us on arrival really made it feel like a home away from home. Looking forward to returning soon if this little gem is still available!

Really enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights. Margaret was helpful with local information before we checked in and had a clear check in process. She was flexible on our arrival time and showed us around the bungalow when we got there. There were plenty of amenities including milk bread and butter. There is also a lovely garden that felt private to us. The bungalow was perfect for bringing a 3 year old - safe, amenities, toys and separate bedroom. We would definitely stay again if visiting chester.

We had a lovely stay. Everything was clean and well-prepared for our arrival. The atmosphere was very pleasant and peaceful. We were really happy with our stay and would gladly come back again!

Our stay at this cottage was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by its cozy atmosphere. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, and we especially appreciated the peace and quiet. The cottage was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and the bed was super comfortable. Ian and Emma were incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful with recommendations. They greeted us once we arrived which was lovely, we also got to meet Frankie who was super cute🥰🐶🐾. We would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in the countryside!

The location was great, loads of excellent walks around in the hills which was exactly what we wanted!

Danny and Deborah were perfect hosts. We were visiting the area as we used to live there, so knew the area. They were both welcoming and we had a welcoming bottle of wine 🍷 and chocolate 🍫 which was nice. They were available if we needed them and always happy to chat, but were not invasive. The accommodation was great, plenty of room for two and everything we needed. The garden, what can I say!! One of the most beautiful gardens I’ve seen, with chickens 🐓 and ducks 🦆, which meant fresh eggs. Outdoor furniture to make the most of the fine weather. Exactly what Airbnb is all about. We stayed for four nights, and every time we came back from our Welsh adventures, we genuinely looked forward to returning. Whether it was relaxing in the garden, putting on the TV, or simply unwinding by the fire, it felt like the perfect place to slow down. Patrick and Alison were amazing hosts, so welcoming and thoughtful. It honestly felt more like visiting people you know than staying at an Airbnb. Breakfast was a real treat too, fresh eggs from their farm made our mornings feel extra special. The beds were super comfy, all the listed amenities were spot on, and there was a really helpful guidebook with local recommendations. And a special shoutout to Ted and Sam, their lovely dogs, who came to say hello on our last day. We’d 100% come back. Thanks again, Patrick and Alison!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at The Potting Shed. Maureen was friendly and welcoming on arrival. She explained how to use the hot tub, which had kindly already been set up for us. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfy, and there were plenty of towels. We really appreciated the extra touches, such as the welcome basket and the fridge supplies. The location was peaceful, quiet, and private, with beautiful views. Everything was just perfect, and we would definitely visit again.

Before we’d even arrived we’d had great information on how to find The Little Gatehouse with clear photos, instructions and contact numbers if needed. On arrival we were met by the cutest place, it was just beautiful, the garden was just blooming and looked so picturesque. The inside was pristine with everything you could need for a break away, the welcome basket was just wonderful with the extras you’d expect to save you nipping to the shop straight away. We also had the use of their beautiful garden to walk the dogs after our journey which was great when a dog walk is last on your list after a long drive! The dogs absolutely loved their stay and were welcomed with open arms. The only downside is that we didn’t stay longer we were sad to leave but we will definitely be returning in the future. Hosts were wonderful and I have to say a huge thank you to them for helping us find our way back after a meal in Llangollen when the road got unexpectedly closed.

Clean and comfortable annexe in beautiful surroundings.

Stunning location, beautiful lodge with every detail thought about. Fiona was quick to answer us when we had a question. We had the best time and it was clear that Fiona takes pride in her accommodation and making sure people have a fabulous time. There were lovely little touches that made it special. We can not wait to return.

We had an amazing time! the pictures didn’t do it any justice, the views were amazing and it was so peaceful. We loved being greeted one morning by the cows out the back. The house was spotless and it had everything we needed. The hot tub was well looked after throughout our stay and Guto was very responsive with any questions we had. Thank you again for our stay. We will definitely be back!

Amy & Tom are wonderful hosts, great communication and always happy to respond. The place is lovely, modern, well-furnished and very private. A superb place to explore the area from and a lovely home to come back to at the end of the day. As we continue to explore this part of England, we will be back. Thank you both!

Booked Julias place for my parents to stay. Perfect location being on the highstreet. Home was super clean, cosy livingroom & kitchen well equipped for staying in.

Jo’s lodge was perfect for our you family. Comfortable, warm, easy to find and good instructions. The unit was well equipped and I couldn’t find any fault with the place. All things you need for a short stay and more where there, as well as some nice touches with local jam and chutney, complimentary cheeses and a pint of milk to ensure we could make a cuppa when we arrived. We were checking in late and communication with Jo was friendly and efficient. All in all a perfect stay and met our expectations. We visit the area most years to visit family and I’m sure we’ll be back. Thanks Jo, a great stay I have nothing but good things

Lovely stay at Adam’s home. Really clean and tidy and left lots of breakfast bits which was a lovely touch!

Immediately we arrived we felt relaxed and at home and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The space is beautifully arranged and so comfortable and we had everything we needed. The views across the surrounding countryside were lovely. The location is also very close to the surrounding suburbs (we enjoyed a super breakfast at Cafe Valentino in Bramhall) and shops. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay and Joy and Richard were welcoming as was their welcome pack. The accommodation was everything we could want and more. We were warned not to rely on sat nav which did send us off the wrong exit. Had we got off on exit 27 and followed Joy's instructions it would have been easy. Listen to your hosts!!! Comms with Claire were quick, friendly and helpful. A superb “welcome” email with excellent directions, tips for days out and places to eat, and instructions for the property security gate and key location. The Lodge itself is beautiful. Very light and airy, extremely well thought out in terms of layout, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The shower was lovely and hot, the bed comfy, and the kitchen extremely well equipped. The weather was quite warm so the large fan provided was very welcome. There is also a lovely log burner which I can imagine would make the place feel cosy and warm in colder months. I can highly recommend this host and this property and Claire as a host. 10/10 - thank you so much!

Steven and Janette were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, particularly in getting milk in for us and showing us around their guest bungalow on our arrival. The property is well appointed and comfortable with a large shower, thick, good quality towels, lots of clothes hangers in the wardrobe, a comfy bed, bedroom curtains which excluded the mid summer early morning light. They really had thought of everything we might need. We loved the wonderful garden views which gave us the chance to get in some bird watching while enjoying a glass of wine sitting on the deck in the evening. The perfect end to busy days playing with our 4 year old granddaughter. Thank you so much. We will be back if your availablity matches our trip dates.
