Perfect escape in the country! This cottage is in the back of the owner's place and totally independent. A car is also provided to enjoy the fantastic location this "love shack" has to explore the area, see lots of wildlife and take a break from the city! Set on the edge of a national park, there are also lots of walks & bike riding trails around. You are welcome to ride the horses if you are an intermediate to experienced rider. There are also push bikes and fishing rods you can use.
“What a beautiful stay. As we walked in the door the wood fire was already on, there was a freshly baked cake on the bench, a bottle of wine, fresh fruit and beautiful breakfast food which made us feel at home straight away. We were also given plenty of fire wood throughout our stay. The space is modern, cosy and comfortable, but we spent most of the time looking out the windows at the kangaroos, beautiful horses and amazing sky. It's so close to Melbourne, and only 20 minutes to Ballarat - there's so much to see and do around the area, it's just a great little get away. We will definitely be back.”

A short drive to the ocean and Geelong city, and Ballarat with the amazing wildlife park, bird park, Kryal Castle and Sovereign Hill. (no local public transport)
“The area surrounding is beautiful and the home is a cosy cottage with a great balcony to sit out on. Rachael is charging per person at the moment which is a great idea. There is plenty of woodland to explore and the surrounding countryside. Great switch off everything recharge batteries get away.”

“Beautiful tiny home that was better than we expected. Furnished really well and beautiful little touches throughout. Mary was very welcoming and friendly. There was no oil left in the place so I messaged Mary and she bought some up to us as soon as she seen the message. Wood was also provided so we could light our own fire outside which was the perfect winters night for it. We were suprised that the TV had Netflix which was a bonus. Breakfast was provided with 4 pieces of bread, eggs, jams, vegemite, butter and milk for coffee. There was also a coffee pod machine and a milk frother, as well as a variety of different teas. There was also a toaster and a Jaffle machine. I felt like the service and utilities here were better than in a hotel. Would definitely come back and recommend. We were very impressed with everything. Thank you Mary.”
