This was the best AirBnB of our holiday. Fabulous view, fabulous people, such kindness and hospitality. The house is beautiful and as described. The history of the village is extraordinary and worth investigating. We particularly enjoyed cycling the Burgundy Canal, which is nearby. Beautiful portion of a house in the village of Alise Sainte Reine, on the slopes of Mount Auxois, the ancient oppidum of Alesia, known for the battle between Vercingetorix and Julius Caesar. The environment is very characteristic and quiet, fully equipped with equipment to prepare meals, the cleaning is very good. There are no shops in Alise, you have to shop in Venarey Les Laumes, three km away. A few steps from the property, there is a path and then a staircase that quickly lead to the grandiose statue of Vercingetorix. Martine was very friendly.

Have a great stay in this house! Everything was perfect: the house was recently refurbished, all comforts were present, and everything was in line with the description and photos of the listing. The area is very quiet. We'll definitely be back.
