Private suite holiday rentals in Mendocino County

This is a lovely, spacious studio space, with access to beautiful gardens. The location is off the beaten path, yet a short drive to town. We appreciated the fruit, bagels, cereal, and coffee. The sauna is a nice bonus! We hope to stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we had. The place has a very unique character to it that made us want to spend as much time as possible in the property itself. We loved the garden with varieties of fruits and flowers and it has a lot of places where you can sit and relax. The kitchen is equipped with utensils and condiments for full fledged cooking. Zelda was very communicative and provided us with everything we asked. She also provided a detailed guide on what to do and where to eat which was extremely helpful for planning our stay in Mendocino. It was a memorable stay, and we would love to visit again.

Super cute place about half an hour from Anderson Valley wine country. The apartment is in the second story of a barn and is really charming. Tons of character! It's got a full kitchen, comfy bed, and a wood burning stove that keeps the place toasty. The host, Holly, made it very easy for check-in and check-out. We are already thinking about when we might be able to go back!

Hosts were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. The guest house and grounds are exceptional. One could spend hours appreciating the art work and creative endeavors. The surrounding property is beautiful and peaceful. Extremely comfortable beds and as quiet as anyone could hope for.

This was our second stay at Amy’s place, and once again it was wonderful. The house is spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short drive from Mendocino and plenty of great restaurants. Highly recommended!

Holly was an amazing host. She was extremely friendly and quick to help when we had trouble with the wifi our first night. The timber suite itself is beautiful, inside and out. Incredible location right by the bluffs with many great views and activities very close by. Inside was very clean and inviting. We were even given a bottle of Chardonnay for free as a welcome gift. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Mendocino area!

Great place to stay near Sea Ranch. Easy access to all the spots you wanna see. Great communication with the hosts. Well worth it.

Stayed here during a 3-week externship with my border collie. We both loved the detached studio and property! Studio was larger than expected, with an extended back portion with a bathroom and gym. The mini-kitchen was great for cooking for myself. Was able to fit an XXL dog crate in the living room and still felt like we had more than enough space. Back door leads to the backyard where I enjoyed many nights eating dinner on the deck with spectacular views of the surrounding hills & lake in the distance. Watching the sunset out here is mesmerizing!! Using the pool & outdoor tub was so special it made me feel like I was truly on a work-cation :) Lucy, the ranch dog is a sweetheart and was friendly towards my dog. Jennifer was an attentive host who went above & beyond to ensure I had everything I needed!! Me & my dog are accustomed to the outdoors and as such, were vigilant about foxtails (which are abundant in this area) and did not mind the bugs that found their way into the studio.

This place was a peaceful getaway! The views were gorgeous! I didn’t realize it had 2 bedrooms! The fresh air and ocean veiw was pretty unbeatable

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful retreat center, from the well appointed kitchen to the spacious living room with wood burning fireplace to the cedar hot tub!

The location was close to the center of town and all the local wineries. Very convenient, and Hani was very helpful and kind. Would love to stay here again!

Marian's place is wonderfully peaceful, comfortable, and clean. Although over a mile from shore, it's so quiet that you can hear the roar of the ocean while sitting out in her yard with your morning coffee. But a short drive will get you into Fort Bragg for a nice restaurant or to one of several state parks for a good hike or beach time. Marian was an excellent host and was very thoughtful with her local recommendations. If you need a few days away from the Bay Area, Marian's place is a great place for some respite.

The place was so cozy and surrounded by lots of wild life. It’s a very quiet and peaceful area. The cottage was so cute and comfortable. Had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back. Our host Holly was very friendly and always easy to contact. Thank you. Sal and Lauri.

We tried to use too many appliances at one time and accidentally tripped the breaker but Rick was very responsive and helped to fix the issue quickly. Private and the area felt very safe. Very short walk to the lake. We very much enjoyed our stay!
