Beautiful, quiet location, large garden. Room nice and spacious, large, open kitchen. Everything very clean and cozy.

We stayed at the Suffelmühle over Easter with 14 people. We really enjoyed the time together cooking, eating, playing, walking. Great area with castles nearby. Very quiet and peaceful. Thank you so much Inga for the beautiful hostel!

Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

We traveled with 5 people and 2 dogs from 3 directions to a family celebration nearby. It was a perfect place to stay and we felt very comfortable.

Nice house in a quiet location, ideal to get away from everyday life for a few days. Everything was in very good condition and as described/pictured and the communication was very pleasant.

We had a lovely Easter weekend with 8 people in Norbert and Rabea's cottage! It is located in a quiet area, within half an hour's drive you have various nice places and activities nearby. Tip: Natura Gart in Ibberburen and the CityPark of Emsdetten for a nice picnic with playground for children. The Hockendes Weib is also recommended for a challenging walk. The cottage is cozy, clean and equipped with everything! The extra bath upstairs is a plus as well as the pellet stove that provides pleasant warmth and atmosphere. Thanks so much for the pleasant stay and the kindness!

We stayed on site for 3 nights in March 2025 and it was fantastic. Despite the "main" location (was less busy than some cul-de-sacs) it was quiet and idyllic. The neighbors were very friendly, the bakery right around the corner and the Dümmer See 10 min. by car. The furnishings are suitable for the house selected traditional and quaint. The two gardens were also a dream and we will miss them the most. Thank you for everything.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

Marion's place is beautiful! The garden is gorgeous and the pool is clean. The apartment (Anton) is very cosy, all little details create a welcoming and warm ambiance. Our dog was very welcome too. We would love to come back. Highly recommended!

We had booked a 4-day stay and wanted to celebrate Christmas with the family near the accommodation. But then everything changed. Thanks to Heike's flexibility and understanding, we were able to spend a relaxing time in the beautiful apartment (decorated with a lot of love, for every little detail). What a wonderful weekend we had, Sina's parents, Erika and Helmut, are very welcoming, helpful and cozy. Reception with "kaffee und Kuchen", every day the cozy tile fireplace was lit for us, homemade liqueur, fresh eggs on arrival.... Accommodation is complete and clean. Hereditary Willi greets you kindly. Lovely garden to relax in. Surroundings are beautiful, varied forests and peat areas nearby, lots of wildlife and birds spotted, beautiful walks made with our dog. Recommended !!

Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

We were guests for a weekend. Alan was super friendly and briefly instructed us in everything. Everything was prepared. From the bed to the fireplace and sauna wood. The lodge was even preheated at our request. Communication with the hosts was possible at any time, and short and understandable. Really great. The lodge itself is a little gem where you can feel comfortable and you can't help but relax. Even though we were here in January, the property is very nice and usable. The outside temperatures were not a problem, as the fireplace did a good job, and the bathroom was well insulated and heated. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely stop by again.

It was very pleasant and cuddly in the house. We explored the area by bike and felt welcome. We'd love to come back 😃

The country house apartment was just great! The apartment is very chicly furnished. It's easy to feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the terrace. It was just wonderful to have breakfast there. Gesa and Heiko are very friendly hosts who also proactively ask if everything is great or if something bothers you. When we had an issue, Gesa and helped very quickly and easily, which we liked very much - thank you again! We would check in again without hesitation!

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was well maintained, super furnished and clean. Tue communication was also very good.

We stayed in the bakery for five nights with our small child and felt very comfortable. The accommodation is very well equipped and lovingly and tastefully furnished. We were received in a very friendly manner. Bastian and Eva were always available and also spontaneously helped out with small things. At the same time, their support was very unobtrusive and you absolutely have the feeling of being in peace and for yourself in the little cottage.

Great stopover during our travel from Germany to Netherlands. House was very comfortable and easy to check-in. Great coffee machine!

Everything was as pictured, it was clean and everything worked out. Parking was available, the area is very safe. If you stay longer, consider that there is no freezer

The family welcomed us very warmly – we felt welcome from the beginning. The small cottage is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need. It was particularly nice that our child could watch the chickens running freely around the house. The surrounding area is ideal for bike rides, and the property is fenced towards the street, so our son could play carefree in the garden. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and can recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature and a family atmosphere.
