We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Erika and the Kehril family’s charming Swiss-style home and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and instantly felt at home. The house was spotless, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made a real difference—like the bedroom slippers, hot-water bag, and even 3-ply toilet paper! Every detail was carefully considered, and it showed. The fully equipped kitchen was a highlight for us. After weeks on the road, being able to prepare a home-cooked meal using the provided utensils and oven was a real treat. And the view—simply stunning. Waking up to the majestic mountains and enjoying our coffee with that breathtaking backdrop was unforgettable. Thank you, Erika and family, for your exceptional hospitality. We loved our stay at this secluded cottage, with an absolutely amazing view of the Bernese Alps – a real slice of timeless paradise. The apartment is super warm and comfortable, and the wood stove creates a magical atmosphere while heating the whole place perfectly. It was just what we were looking for to relax in peace. This property deserves the highest number without a doubt. Located in a quiet, authentic environment without mass tourism, this is the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful Swiss Alps. The view is breathtaking, the silence soothing, and the atmosphere casual. The house itself is simple at first glance, but everything is thoughtfully decorated. Even in less good weather, the cottage offers a comfortable and pleasant stay. The bed has an excellent mattress – we rarely slept so well – and the shower is surprisingly powerful, ideal for strained shoulders after a day of walking. Hostess Elisabeth deserves a special mention. She has provided all kinds of information leaflets with care and attention and helped us create a tourist card for the area, which gave us a discount on activities, sometimes even free transportation and cable cars. We were genuinely sorry to have to travel on again. Elisabeth: thanks for EVERYTHING!
