Beautiful cozy house with sauna and garden and ideally located to explore the area. We felt super comfortable, the check-in with the key box was very convenient and easy and communication with Diana very friendly and uncomplicated. We would book the Swedish house again right away!

We were with a group of 13 and enjoyed the accommodation immensely. In the house there was enough to keep us busy, I am thinking of the great sauna and swimming pond but also the extensive range of board games, toys, chess board and poker set. It is a very charming house that is modern where it should be. The area was beautiful and even more beautiful than in the photo. You can take a beautiful walk directly from the garden and you are really in nature. This is definitely recommended!

We stayed with 2 families for an extended weekend in Kathi's house. The house and the spacious garden invite you to relax. Everything was clean and well maintained and Kathi was quick to respond to all questions and was very helpful.

Nice accommodation, for a weekend. With the airfield next door, it's definitely a cool experience. The view from the houses could have been a little nicer for the area. You have to get your water for the accommodation in a canister, but that's not so bad. The sanitary facilities were okay, but could be improved. Very nice staff.

We spent very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small village invites you to take small and large hikes. If you get in the car, you can reach the well-known sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the black moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. The hut is great for hikes and excursions to reservoirs and many activities. Very quiet and right by the forest to go hiking. .In the cabin there is everything you need. Super fenced for our dogs,which gives extra points;-).

The stay was really nice. The property is immersed in nature and has a lot to offer. Our highlights were the heated outdoor hot tub and the lower fireplace. When the weather is nice, you can hike wonderfully in the immediate vicinity, in bad weather the accommodation offers plenty of distraction. Highlighted is the protection of the property and the accommodation. I haven't felt so safe in any place so far. In addition, Manuela was very quick to respond to my messages and always a solution ready. Thanks for that!

A dream of a house! Everything went great! After all the years we traveled with AirBnb, this was truly the best equipped and prettiest house we've ever stayed in. All previous reviews didn't exaggerate! You can really use everything and feel at home from the first minute. The check-in was extremely uncomplicated, as was the checkout. Don't forget to visit the landlord's shop - it's just super chic!!!! The only drawback is that there is actually no bakery or supermarket or the like within walking distance in Mittelaschenbach itself. Bicycle or car are mandatory for errands... but the house can't do anything about it. All in all, we had a fantastic stay despite the construction site on the neighboring grounds (the landlords can't do anything for that) and quite clairaudient walls! Thank you again for the relaxed adjustments regarding people, 😊 we will be happy to come back!

It is a unique opportunity to live in a 500-year-old perfectly renovated old rectory for a while, which we have enjoyed very much.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very cozy and offered us exactly the peace and quiet we were looking for. We particularly liked the idyllic location - it was incredibly peaceful and we were able to really unwind. Our children were thrilled, because right next door there was a beautiful stream where they could play for hours. That was really perfect for us as a family. A special thank you goes to the hosts Helge and Conny. They were incredibly nice and welcomed us very warmly. We can recommend this place to anyone looking for a break surrounded by nature.

We had a wonderful stay in Bettina’s house. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was incredibly peaceful. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden for breakfast and dinner admiring the beautiful view. Bettina was very friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions for day trips using the local tourist card. We rather carelessly left a personal possession behind and Bettina very kindly sent it back to us. We would really recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay here!

Oliver's basic mill is very idyllic and for us it was ideally located for a meeting from northern and southern Germany. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky with the weather to use the great terrace and garden. The communication with Oliver was very friendly. The evenings we sat in a separate room downstairs in the economy, where Oliver cooked for an evening. This was very pleasant as the kitchens of the apartments are two floors higher and we did not all have space there due to our group size (15 people). We took two excursions, one to the border museum and a nearby moor. All and all it was a very nice weekend. :)

Such a beautiful cabin in picturesque surroundings! We felt right at home. There is everything you need for a quiet break. Heckmühle is a very cute village with great people. We will be happy to come back.

We spent relaxed days in this super beautiful cottage and the idyllic natural garden. The cottage has been lovingly renovated, yet it has retained its old charm in many places. There is a lovely welcome package, which the children and our dog were very happy about. The area is super beautiful and interesting. There is a great nature reserve nearby and it is not far to Eisenach. The nearest shopping facility is only a few kilometres away in the next village. You can also have a great holiday in this house and in the surrounding area with a rather nervous animal welfare dog. There is plenty of space and tranquility for everyone. The people in the village are also very nice and understanding. You can start hiking directly from the house. There is a good information folder. Our children were thrilled with the warm down duvets and extra blankets, as the weather was cool on Pentecost. We can only recommend the Kaufmann family and their cottage! 😃

We had a great time with a dog in Manuel's place for two. There was even a welcome treat and the fenced garden was great for a relaxing stay. The district is very small, but we were on the road every day anyway. The area is great for hiking or model flying, which is why we were there. The house is equipped with everything you need, we didn't miss anything. The built-in oven impressed us very much and makes cool evenings super cozy. Communication with Manuel was straightforward, although no in-person contact was made, which we a little regretted, but that's a matter of taste. Nevertheless, it was a very friendly and pleasant contact. Will be happy to come back if we go back to the Rhön. A really nice spot in Germany :-)

Super nice house in a great location (on the edge of the forest and village)! Terrace with barbecue facilities available. We were very satisfied with the house, the furnishings and everything and spent an extended weekend there with the family (6 adults). The only point to note for future guests: The house is advertised for 5-6 people, but there are only 5 beds + 1 cot. We then converted the sofa, bedding is just like towels sufficiently available! Thanks for the wonderful time in your house!

It was just as described, nice place with equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed sauna as well. Very recommended!

We were two with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, beautifully furnished and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are directly on the property. This took a bit of nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her that the goats would not be eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

Sandar and Hans are very nice - we had no problems on arrival and departure, everything went smoothly. The house is in a well-maintained condition and very clean. The kitchen was great! The communication was top notch. The house has a quiet and private location - beautiful view of the village. The surroundings are very beautiful and super suitable for small hiking tours. The garden invites you to relax and barbecue. Shops and restaurants in Großbreitenbach are about 8 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. We'll be back!

A beautiful, special accommodation with attention to detail. Modern and clean. The location was outstanding on the Burghof and the accommodation absolutely recommended. We are absolutely thrilled!!

Our stay at Chalet Birkenzauber was magical 🫶 The entire accommodation for us was super cozy, well equipped (unlimited 5G Wi-Fi, 4kSmartTv, coffee maker with all kinds of pad hangers etc...) and offers a magnificent view and because we were there over New Year's Eve we had a fantastic fireworks spectacle! The area had many highlights to offer. The museums, picturesque hiking trails and the snow park towards Oberhof with its versatile winter activities such as skiing, biathlon shooting and a fantastic view. Everything necessary like supermarkets with bakery was right nearby We didn't miss anything. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for recreation and or experiences. Thank you Mandy again for this wonderful break we were able to experience and the little touches that made it even more special! ❤️

Our time with Eileen and Michael was great! All as described and super nice hosts! We are very happy about the time in Haus Relax and will be very happy to come back.

The house is cozy, offers plenty of space and everything you need is available. On the first evening, the oven warmed us with a wood fire. The oversized blankets in the bed were also pleasant. We felt completely comfortable.

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.
