The accommodation is an incredible place, it is remarkable that its hosts take pains to keep it spotless and comfortable, super quiet and beautiful landscapes, ideal for family and pet sharing. We had a great time every day of the stay.

If you are looking for an out of the way escape from the city and a real country or “finca” experience, this is your place. However, I would recommend driving or renting an SUV with decent ground clearance. The place is very easy to find with Waze GPS or Google Maps by searching “Hato the Farm”. No four wheel drive needed, but the dirt road to the place has spots where a low car will definitely scrap bottom if you’re not careful. The dirt road is maintained and used by the municipality and locals, so it’s not impassible. We rented a car at the airport to get there, and everything went well, but if you’re not used to dirt roads and winding roads, this will be a learning experience! :-) The place itself was an open floor plan with plenty of space to sleep 12+ people. Everything was clean and well maintained and the local caretaker (Sonia) was extremely sweet and helpful for all our needs. If you’re lucky and nice enough :-) , she can point you to local spots for swimming and hiking that are off the beaten path and empty of people, but full of amazing views, cold mountain water for swimming, and a true Colombian countryside experience that was enjoyable and as safe as any place I’ve visited. The local tienda (general store) will deliver without cost of delivery for whatever food and drink you need, although tipping the delivery boy is a good idea. The property had many different varieties of fruit trees, which we were invited to pick for super and delicious fresh orange juice in the morning or whatever else you can pick. Overall, staying in Manuel’s place was an amazing and relaxing experience and we will return and rent the place again! Although, we’ll make sure to get a vehicle with higher ground clearance for the road up.

It is located in an area of beautiful landscape, good weather, warm in the day, cold at night. We were six people and located well in the three quarters. It is close to the main road and a part of the access section is uncovered but in good order. It was an optimal rest enjoying the nature and amenities of the house such as the pool and the pool game.

Fernando's place was beautiful. pictures do not capture the beautiful scenery of this location. it's very peaceful with everything that you may need to have your home away from home. We booked late in the afternoon and they were able to fit us in and had someone come welcome us at night and bring some things that were needed last minute. We loved our stay!

The cabin is very nice, it is fully equipped for the stay. The kitchen is very complete. It is a quiet place, you hear a little noise from some neighbors when they make parties, but it is not constant, as I understand. The care of Verónica, the girl who received us, was very good. She was overdue for our stay.

it was an excellent choice. The cabin is located in a place like few, rural, traditional, surrounded by beautiful mountains, farmers, roads that make you forget the congested streets of the city, cozy cold, not having a TV was the maximum, a house with everything you need, in addition to the friendliness and quality of person who showed us to be Jhon, on the way out he gave us flowers and lettuces from his garden. It was actually a very nice experience to be there and definitely to be repeated.

I highly recommend the accommodation of Alejandro and his wife, very nice and quiet place, with very good waves, Alejandro was super friendly with us, it was possible to organize an asado, use the kitchen, it was possible to travel with our dog... a very good surprise!!! you can go without a doubt if you are a lover of nature and tranquility

Everything was Amazing of the Property. Very Peaceful and Quite. My only complaint is the 3 minute dirt road to the property that it is much better with a 4X4 than a regular car like we had. I recommend taking a 4x4 small to big SUV so you dont get stuck in the mud, especially if it rains like what happened to us.

Jose's home was fantastic. The home itself is beautiful, but it's the location, views, and surrounding nature that make it truly special. I highly recommend it.

I could sum up our experience as ¡Maravillosa! The estate is beautiful, quiet, very clean, comfortable and tidy. Our entire stay was filled with unforgettable moments and we enjoyed them from start to finish. Our children were safe and happy in the contact with nature, the landscape, the pets, the corral animals, the playground and the paths to tour the countryside. The location is close to access roads, shops, restaurants and fun. The host team is friendly, respectful, and very attentive to respond quickly to any requests. We were attended and guided from the beginning of the reservation, which I value and thank you very much. We would definitely come back many times to this adorable place. Thank you very much!!

Maribel is super dear, it made us feel like we were at a family member's house. He was attentive to us the whole time, he got us the numbers of nearby homes and contacts for us to wash horses to walk the kids, he accommodated a toy room for my son with details to draw, and he left us the cotillion to celebrate the new year. The estate is ideal for spending a few quiet days with family, it is a very nice place.

alternately satisfied with my stay . It met all expectations. Juan is very attentive. The country house has everything you need to rest and enjoy nature. The installation is very nice and very tasteful. i recommend this place perfect rating

Such a beautiful and special place. We absolutely loved it. And the staff was so helpful and supportive. The only issue was that some of the showers were not hot and it was cold out in the mornings and evenings so some of our guests were uncomfortable in the showers. Otherwise, the estate is spectacular and we all felt so lucky to be there. 🥰 Thank you!
