Holiday rentals with a patio in McGregor

We had a fantastic experience at Patmos Stay and highly recommend their short-term rental. The cozy and charming setup is perfect for both winter and summer. Special touches in the suite made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely return to Robertson and stay at Patmos for a longer period next time!

I would highly recommend for any single person or couple visiting Swellendam. Even though you are in town you look out across the river and big trees which creates the sense of being on a farm. Bed was very comfortable and flexible check-in.

We had a lovely stay at Marisa’s place after a long day of packing and moving house! Marisa was super responsive and welcoming and accommodated us so well with secure parking for our 2 fully loaded cars! A clean space with everything you need! Thanks Marisa for a great stay, we had such a peaceful night!

Had I known that there was no step in shower I would not have booked - but that is my preference . Others may be happy to have a shower over a bath The Kitchen had a good few 'appliances" but no table to sit at ??? There was lots of coffee and Rooibos tea but no milk ? We found the lighting in the bathroom inadequate I am being hyper critical in the hope and belief that Zahne will consider my, hopefully, constructive criticism Thanks Zahne I hope I will be welcome again despite my hopefully constructive comments

The beds and linens are incredibly comfortable, and there’s nothing quite like starting your day with a coffee on the patio, listening to the birds and watching the horses—it was exactly what my soul needed. Daytime strolls around the beautiful property, evening braais, and cozy board games made it feel just like home. Every detail in the house has been thoughtfully considered, making our stay both stylish and comfortable. Willem gave us the warmest welcome—it genuinely felt like visiting family. We loved everything about Bluebell Cottage - the garden was wonderfully peaceful, the cottage was tastefully furnished and decoraged. The many positive items mentioned in other reviews are confirmed. In addition, this host really aced some details that most other Airbnb hosts flub, e.g.: 1. Enough hooks and places to hang hats, coats, bath towels, dish towels, clothes, etc. 2. In the kitchen, the sharp knives are actually sharp! 3. Strong wifi signal throughout 4. Enough space in the shower! AND good water pressure! We had a super experience and are thankful to Karen for answering our many questions with helpful and relevant suggestions - she made our stay perfect!

Greyton was a little peaceful haven. Charming village! The property was great for us after a long walk on the Boesmankloof trail and we enjoyed our 2 night stay. Thank you!

Very nice home and location. Just what we needed for the Double Century cycle race !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is situated in what seems to be a small valley. We used our time to walk into several directions including the rock pools and the bokmakierie trail. You have to walk this one as it takes you very high above the surroundings and gives you beautiful view all around. We regularly went to do our own game drives on the designated roads as we didn't had a 4x4 but still with a vehicle with high clearance. We saw a lot of Springbok, Gemsbok, Eland and Bontebok. We also did a bit of bird watching at the main dam early in the morning. The rest of the time just lounging around of course. The host was very responsive of our needs and questions. We would definitely be visiting Drie Kuilen again.

What an absolutely amazing place, so peaceful and really beautiful surroundings, close to activities in Swellendam but away from the crowds. The perfect getaway with family. Lena was an absolute star.

Andre was a great host, when we arrived the fireplace was already on and a few lights, we walked into a warm cozy house in the middle of a rainy cold day we thought that was a wonderful touch of kindness. The house is well equipped and very comfortable beds and linen. We really enjoyed our stay, the play area was great for the kids. We would definitely recommend staying
