Holiday rentals with a fireplace in McGregor

This is already our fourth time staying in Rigby's beautiful house. It is wonderfully located on the golf course, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It's a great starting point for many activities. Rigby and Jean-André are always easily reachable. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely place in the mountains. Great to spot animals on drives and walks you can do by your own. Nice playground at the office. Thanks for welcoming and hosting us.

We enjoyed our stay at the riverside cottage. The accommodation is simple but cozy, with plenty of relaxing spots around. We appreciated the lovely complimentary touches like coffee, tea, milk, butter, bread and water. There was lots of space for the kids to play, which made it even more special. A place full of good memories! I’m not sure is it’s okay but during the braai was lots of smoke in the house, I advise do it outside.

Our weekend at The Black House in Robertson was truly exceptional. Tucked away in a peaceful spot yet close to top wine farms, it was the perfect base for exploring the region. The warm welcome from our host, complete with a delicious homemade quiche and lemon meringue pie set the tone for a relaxing, indulgent stay. The house itself is beautifully designed, with stylish interiors and serene outdoor spaces that strike a perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making us feel right at home. We left refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and peaceful wine country escape.

We enjoyed the perfect weekend getaway. Ines and Mark have a beautiful home in a tranquil setting. Greyton is the perfect little town with great restaurants and very walkable. Highlights include relaxing on the outdoor sofa, late night braais and visiting the Saturday morning market. The house is beautifully decorated with all amenities. Do not hesitate booking. A must-visit!

We had a fantastic experience at Patmos Stay and highly recommend their short-term rental. The cozy and charming setup is perfect for both winter and summer. Special touches in the suite made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely return to Robertson and stay at Patmos for a longer period next time!

What an amazing place to stay in Greyton with the BEST Fireplace! Great location, easy to find and adjacent to the Restaurant which made our stay just that much better!! Mornay and Helouise are wonderful, helpful and very kind hosts, who really cared greatly about us having the best stay as their guests!! We would really recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Greyton!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage! We visited with friends, and the setup was perfect—two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, made everything so easy and comfortable. What truly stood out were the thoughtful touches: a little olive branch with chocolate on the bedside table and fresh, beautiful flowers in the bathroom—those small details made us feel really special. The combustion stove was a highlight too, keeping us cozy on the chilly evenings, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall, it was an amazing experience. We truly appreciated the care and attention put into making the place feel welcoming and memorable. Highly recommend!

Booked this place for my parents to stay and they loved it. Had a very pleasant stay

We had a really great stay, it is a beautiful location with easy access to Montague and Barrydale. Danielle gave us some really great suggestions for things to do in the area. The farm has some nice walks, and the roads are well kept, very accessible for cars, no 4x4 needed. The farm has some very friendly dogs as well. They were kind enough to provide us with wood and a well equipped kitchenette. I highly recommend it.

Louisette was responsive, friendly, accommodating and easy to communicate with. Her place is lovely, well appointed, and very comfortable. It was a great place to stay after a long day of cycling. Highly recommended.

The home is a rare gem giving a glimpse of life of the well to do families in a bygone era. We felt very privileged being able to spend a wonderful weekend with loved ones in such a special home. Thank you!!

As per my first visit to Lucky Crane Villas on my birthday in November, this visit was again spectacular. The interior aesthetics of Monika's design, the total comfort, the thoughtfully created functionality in every space, the integration with surrounding nature and the views out the windows, the private garden, and so much more - all this adds up to a truly fabulous experience. Definitely have dinner at the "The Courtyard Bistro and Theater", and breafast at "51", both must-visit destinations in their own right. Peaceful with awesome views. We had a busy weekend but relaxing on the Monday was great. Well laid out for communal entertaining as well as privacy if you want to sit and read on the veranda with a view of the dam and mountains.

Our family group of 12 had a fantastic weekend at Toad Hall, and it’s the perfect place for a large group. Right in the heart of Greyton, and with a great kitchen, pool and hot tub deck for social gatherings, while each room is private, comfortable and with nice bathrooms. Lisa was an excellent host, and communicated proactively throughout our booking process and visit.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful house. Megan and Mike were incredibly welcoming. The house was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and the living and dining areas were perfect for our party of ten. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with fantastic hosts.

This was truly a piece of heaven! I didn't want to leave. If I weren't hosting an event in Cape Town - I wouldn't have left - and could have easily stayed for AT LEAST a week longer. The layout of the home was exquisite, very such clever design features everywhere. Such as the shutter doors that allow you to sleep feeling safe with fresh cool natural air blowing (even though it was warm in the days - it was cool at night), the beautiful bath with large window looking into the garden, the high ceilings in the living area - and I could go on and on. This place was a delight. I loved how peaceful and private it felt - looking out at the mountains across the garden, verandah, pool, deck and even an amazing sauna. Monika was so helpful, proactive, friendly and warm - and has built a place where you can feel nurtured, energized and peaceful. I can't recommend highly enough! I will be back many times!
