in the district Hüsingen in the middle of the village, next to the old village well, stands our stylishly converted farmhouse dating from 1788, situated next to a horse paddock, not far from the forest. The attic is an oasis of peace. A large wild garden with apple trees belongs to the property and can be used for a romantic campfire, depending on the season. S-Bahn connection can be reached in 5 min by car. A baby cot can be added, children must be very careful with the steps.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Welcome to Steinen-Schlächtenhaus, in the beautiful southern Black Forest! Because here is your renovated apartment. A 1-room apartment on the first floor of an old farmhouse with a separate entrance and about 23 square meters of space, which we have lovingly brought to its current state. The area is perfect for hikers, motorcyclists, bikers and otherwise all who love nature. It is also not far to Lörrach (14 km), Schopfheim (13 km) or Basel (27 km).

The Alte Tischlerei is an individual apartment (approx. 70 square meters of living space) for nature lovers, individualists, cooking enthusiasts, dog lovers or... It is equipped with a built-in kitchen, 80 cm induction range, convection oven and steam cooker, fridge/freezer and bathroom with very large shower and separate toilet. The area is open plan, so there is no enclosed bedroom. Outside there is a private garden with seating, barbecue and fencing.

Set in Herrischried, the vacation home "Ferien Alm Alfret" occupies an idyllic alpine pasture and offers a splendid view of the mountains and the Black Forest. The 2-storey property is a typical example of the regional architecture and consists of a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet and can accommodate 6 people. Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Until there is no 5 minute walk. Zell lies at 426 m and is framed by hills and mountains to over 1000 m altitude. It is a small town with good shopping and good connection to bus and train. You can borrow a bicycle for small tours for 5€ / day
