Holiday Homes in Matera

This was a lovely stay! Andrea was incredibly helpful and a very warm host - he helped us find restaurants and bats with great views in Matera and allowed us to stow our things after checkout so we could keep exploring. It’s in a great location in Sassi with a gorgeous view. Highly recommend!

Domenico welcomed us and introduced us to the city of Matera, he gave us good advice to organise our visit. He was proactive and very considerate during our stay. We stayed 2 nights, the location is ideal and very close to the sassi, the accommodation is clean, very nice with very good bedding. A few restaurants as well as a convenience store are within a 5-minute walk. We loved it and will be happy to come back.

Antonella is one of the nicest hosts we’ve had. She went above and beyond and was so lovely. The house is better than the pictures. Perfect location within walking distance to the Sassi of Matera. Its downstairs so it was really cool inside, a nice change from the heat outside. Overall wonderful cant fault it

I strongly recommend this location, the house is really amazing and our host is absolutely amazing. she is really answering the slightest question and even bothered to come at 10pm to see us when we had a water issue. the garden and the terrasses are really amazing. don't hesitate book it, it is great !

Mrs. Lorella was an exceptional person and always available. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet you in person and we had to do the selfcheck in which it was very easy as she always provided us with directions through photos and videos to implement it. The house matches the photos and amenities provided: cozy, clean and super fragrant with an ambient scent for each room that made each one different. It is very close to the center of Matera and the limits of the ZTL. Also, if you want to move towards Puglia like Alberobello, Locorotondo, it is located at a comfortable height for these trips nearby. I'll definitely be back here.

The apartment is beautiful and spacious. It has everything you need for a great visit. Parking is nearby and you can easily walk to all the sights.

Matera is a wonderful place. The flat is confortable, easy to reach, and if you travel there by car you even have a space to park for free. Very quiet. There's coffee and tea, which is always a nice welcome

Roberto is a wonderful:, very friendly and accommodating host. He has renovated and designed his apartment very tastefully and authentically. It offers everything your heart desires, is absolutely quiet and centrally located and offers fantastic views of the beautiful city of Matera.

Super recommended accommodation, 10/10, the hosts the best, super complete and delicious breakfast, made at home, the house has a terrace overlooking the meadow that we could see a dream sunset. We would definitely return to this lodging.

I'd recommend Manuela's house. Not everyone likes artistic interiors, the millions of personal touches that make them feel more comfortable, and they have great notes with instructions and greetings in different places. Cats, dogs, and chickens sometimes look for company, but they're not hectic. Cicadas have been great for a day in the morning. There's a common area where you can relax and dine in the evening.

Excellent Sassi rental. Husband and I rented it for the night - and it really was magical. Flexible check in, located right off the main strip, with an easy walk to all major sites and restaurants. Romantic, quaint and perfectly matched the city’s charm and vibe. Highly recommend - and recommend at least two nights to get the full experience.

Casa San Martino: We were very well received by Francesco and Florinda (F&F) and before even by phone Francesco was very thorough on some of our questions. The "little house" is very welcoming and characteristic as well as comfortable and furnished with all the comforts!!!! The location is in the historic center and for parking we had a permit for the ZTL. A few steps away, there are several services; in particular, the La Cavallerizza place where we had the breakfast kindly offered by F&F. The location is strategic for those who plan to move to the different neighboring towns: Marina di Ginosa, Matera, Alberobello ... Recommended for families and young people !!!!

The accommodation was beautifully and tastefully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. We were a group of five, and the space was more than enough for us to relax. The beds were also extremely comfortable. What stood out the most was how kind and thoughtful our host, Raffaella, was. Since we were traveling by van, it was difficult to find a parking spot, but she kindly reserved her own parking space for us in advance so we could park there when we arrived. The location is also perfect for exploring Matera. Highly recommended!

This Airbnb is a DREAM. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Iris and Milena will welcome you like family — so even if it’s your first time in Italy, you’ll feel safe and at home the entire trip! They offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the property if you arrange, which is SO rare in Matera, where parking can be a challenge. It’s the most premium Airbnb experience I’ve had in Italy. 🇮🇹 The views in the place: Absolutely STUNNING. Every room opens onto a picture-perfect backdrop. The home has two bathrooms, air conditioning, & every hotel-level amenity you could want, you can really tell the hosts have hospitality experience. 🌅😍🏩🏨 My best friend and I are content creators & truly couldn’t believe how photogenic the entire place is. Not only the Airbnb:The TOWN TOO—It’s was such a dream for us! Milena’s brother works at the restaurant next door, incredible food and wine, and they’ll even bring it to the airbnb! A lovely apartment, warm and in the heart of downtown. The kitchen is very spacious with all the necessary utensils (even oil and salt that does not happen often in B&Bs) a small terrace, very clean and warm bathroom. Fast internet, washer with dryer. The bedroom is beautiful and quiet. The care and hospitality of Biagio and Mr. Rosa is impeccable. Highly recommended!!!! I will definitely be back. Thank you Biagio, see you soon.

This is an excellent property with well appointed kitchen and laundry. It was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. The garage was a welcome addition, despite available street parking. The keyless internet entry worked very well (but does require your phone to have data).

Great place to stay close to the city center. Walkable to all of the attractions and restaurants. Great place for a couple or a family with one child.
