Nearby there are also all the amenities including market, characteristic fruit and fish market, ovens, typical shops, restaurants, pizzerias and tourist points.

Access to the apartments is on a comfortable ground floor but the view from the balcony of apartment number 1 is on a high floor (magic of the Sassi of Matera!)

Located in the Sasso Barisano, the San Biagio Suite is completely carved out of the tuff rock and offers the unique and magical experience of sleeping in the Sassi of Matera. The partition walls are made of frosted glass, but with a touch you can make them transparent so you can appreciate the environment in its evocative entirety. In the Sasso, you can admire the fossil shells that emerge from the tuff, take a shower inside the cave and touch the walls that emerged from the sea a million years ago.

This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. "Casa nostra" is an apartment offered to guarantee guests every comfort, with air conditioning. On the first level, there is the living area with bathroom, kitchen and terrace. On the second, two bedrooms, one of which is a double, completely private and the other is on a mezzanine overlooking the living area and a bathroom.
