Odette and Joe are lovely warm hosts who go out of their ways to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. The location is peaceful and picturesque, a 5 minute walk from a very good bakery/coffee shop, and 30 mins from Muri Beach (it's more convenient to have a car or bike but they are both walkable), and we had a very nice stay.

We stayed here for 4 days and we really enjoyed being in your home. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms really spacious. Thank you for allowing us to check in early and check out late I really appreciated that. Rachel and Avoca I want to thank you both for being kind and awesome hosts. This was home away from home and I highly recommend this place to any families who are looking for a comfy place to come hang out when you are done at the beach. We had a lovely stay at Mapere Retreat! A lovely private location that was close to Muri which is our favourite area on the island. The house was new and very clean with all the amenities you need. The air conditioning was a huge seller for us so this was a great bonus. Kimberly and Kelly were both extremely helpful whenever we had questions. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend people to stay here. Thank you for everything 🤍

Wonderful place, very clean and tidy with plenty of space inside and outside. Lovely lush trees and plants all around the house. And a lovely bakery in a 5min walk distance! Eddie was a very nice and very helpful host. We loved this place so much and will come back next time we visit Rarotonga.
