Bird's Nest - Straw-bale Studio at Hot Water Beach

The perfect place on the Coromandel Peninsula for a couple to escape to. This unique straw-bale studio is a magical place to stay. Overlooking farmland and Hot Water Beach, you can enjoy the view from the comfort of your bed. You'll be close enough to the beach to hear the waves crashing and even hear kiwi in the nearby bush. Please note that the beach is NOT a "4 min walk" away as advertised on our listing (we are working to remove this). Our studio is approximately 1.5km from the beach.

Just 500 mtrs to the beach for a swim or walk the 4 kms into town. A 5 minute drive along the beach front to the cafes, restaurants and bars . 20 Minutes to Lukes Kitchen or 42kms to Coromandel. Its calm, close to everything yet hidden away.

Ocean Cliff Court overlooks the stunning Blackjack Reef which is 15 minutes’ drive north of Whitianga. This 2 bedroom house was completed in 2017 and can accommodate up to 6 adults - there are 2 Queen beds and a fold out couch. It has a large deck with outdoor furniture and sea views. Located on a beautiful 1 acre property above Kuaotunu Village which is only 3 minutes’ walk from the beach, local pizzeria, cafe and shop.

Self contained stand alone accommodation in quiet street, parking right outside the unit. Close to estuary, an easy 15 minute flat walk to main street. Open plan living measuring 7m x 5.3m with queen sized bed. Living area, spacious bathroom, towels and soap provided. Kitchenette has sink, microwave, toaster, toasted sandwhich maker, fridge, jug, bistro style table and chairs. Coffee, tea, milk, and sugar supplied.
