Beach house holiday rentals in Matanzas Inlet

My husband and I honeymooned here.. We absolutely loved it!!! The house is beautiful and a short walk to the end of the road comes out at the beach. Gorgeous ocean view and pleasant community. Rhonda was very friendly and responded to our questions fast. Loved our first trip as a married couple to Florida. - From The Crisps , Slater, South Carolina

We had a great time and enjoyed the house. The host was very responsive. The views were beautiful. Historic St. Augustine is a quick drive away. There are other restaurants and ice cream places in walking distance. The house had everything we needed to cook and grill. I’m sure we will be going back again soon.

We had a Wonderful Family vacation with our dogs here! The House was very clean, very close to the beach! The Kitchen very well stocked! Very Private and clean beach. Can't wait to return next year! Owner was also very responsive and helpful. Great great experience! Highly recommend for families and pets!

We had a great stay here and will definitely be returning soon! The beach area was not crowded at all and the sand is nice and soft and great for kids. Plenty of restaurants close by and house has everything you need!

We had a great time here. The view and beach are amazing. Just steps to the water and we saw dolphins every single day that we were there. Lots of pelicans flying by throughout the day as well! Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for an awesome beach. There are so many beautiful shells to be found on the beach! We also found a couple shark teeth, which was very exciting! The Reef, Aunt Kate’s, and Caps are all extremely close, with the Reef being within walking distance. Both decks are amazing and really help keep you cool and out of the sun. The house has a ton of beach toys, boogie boards, and chairs to use on the beach. Tons of lizards outside, which we thought was cool. We did see a few cockroaches in the house and had a run in with a Huntsman spider, but in no way did it impact our stay and it was to be expected. It is Florida after all! The house was very clean and we loved our stay here!

We had an amazing stay at this home in St. Augustine! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home—clean, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was especially impressive, fully equipped with appliances, spices, and utensils that made cooking easy and enjoyable. The outdoor space was a true highlight—like having our own private paradise. It was perfect for relaxing and spending time together as a family. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. A wonderful experience all around!

What a wonderful place to vacation! Very peaceful neighborhood, close to the beach (easy walk) and close to Vilano Beach Publix/bridge to downtown St. Augustine. Fully stocked on essentials. We had 6 adults and it was very comfortable. Derek was so very responsive and gave great instructions on check-in/check-out procedures. Will definitely consider future stays. Thank you!

Monica’s home was amazing. It was spacious, beautiful, well appointed, and in a great location. She thought of every little detail. You basically don’t need to bring anything because she provides it all from pool and beach necessities to toiletries to kitchen essentials! She even provides kitchen gadgets and accessories that I don’t even have in my home! She was responsive and checked on us frequently. This was the perfect girls trip with my 3 aunts and cousins. We were so impressed we tried to book it again for October but she was already booked! I’ve stayed in many places all over the world and this was one of the nicest and most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. I can’t wait to come back to St Augustine again! Thanks Monica!

our stay here was amazing! the place was clean and host was very nice and communicated regularly. it is just a short walk to a beautiful beach too. pool was nice, hot and clean. lots of little extra things like spices, ziplock bags, dish soap, and body care. the location couldn't have been more perfect for what we had wanted. thanks for a great stay!!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. It’s a short walk to a quiet, stunning beach, and we appreciated having beach chairs and gear available. The backyard pool area felt like a private garden retreat—perfect for relaxing after a day out. Great restaurants were just minutes away, and communication with the host was excellent. The whole family loved it—highly recommend!

Our family had a wonderful trip to After Hours and found the proximity to the beach perfect! Literally right across the street ! The beach is beautiful and not busy at all:) returning to After Hours and using the pool and hot tub was the perfect end to the day! The house was a lot of fun and perfectly appointed. There were actual spices to use in the kitchen!!! The hosts were so communicative and gave suggestions for places to eat . Our family looks forward to visiting again ❤️❤️

We had a fantastic stay! The home was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The highlight was definitely the pool it was the perfect way to cool off in the Florida heat! Ben was a super responsive host and made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Maya was EXTREMELY responsive, answered all my questions within minutes of sending her a message. The place was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. The outside space was perfect for a family gathering. The pool and ability to dine outdoors and grill out (on a nice clean Weber Grill) was a highlight. The place accomodated our group of 8 perfectly. The living space provided a nice space for game night and eating our meals together. I would highly recommend this place. It was a quick easy walk to a very quiet, pretty beach. We will stay here again.

We had a fantastic time at 17 Palms Beach House. The house was even better than the pictures showed. It was clean and comfortable with a kitchen that had everything needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the linens ultra soft. Even the pillows were perfect. The pool was a big hit with everyone with all the toys and beach towels one could wish for. The beach was an easy walk right down the road. We had a couple of questions and Lyndsey answered quickly and was so nice. I highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

5 Stars! A Perfect Beach Getaway We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as pictured. The location was unbeatable—just steps from the beach with stunning ocean views and the relaxing sound of waves in the background. The home was cozy yet spacious, with thoughtful touches throughout—from extra towels and beach gear to a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we loved spending our mornings on the deck with coffee. Our host, Melissa, was responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining this place. There a quite a few great restaurants in the surrounding area to enjoy, as well. Such an enjoyable stay!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay! Easy walk to the amphitheater with crossing guards assisting with crossing the highway. Short drive to the beach and also St. Augustine itself. We opted to uber to St. Augustine which was only about 12 dollars instead of dealing with parking and parking fees. Would definitely stay again! Had no problems with the shower as mentioned in other reviews.

Extremely beautiful modern home! Loved the layout of the house! The pool was the cherry on top! Just a quick 5 minute drive to either downtown with tons of shops/restaurants or 5 mins to the beach! Will definitely be back!

Firstly, I would have to say cleanliness is the most important part of selecting accommodation. This Airbnb is absolutely spotless !! It has lots of natural light and comfortable stylish furnishings. Just hop Skip and a jump to the beach. There are great shops directly across the street if you need anything such as groceries. Especially enjoyed the hot water outdoor shower. Very handy to eliminate bringing sand in the house, especially if you have children. I found there to be zero road noise :) The house is very secure & smells fresh. A nice touch to the Airbnb was water in the fridge and coffee with a well prepared kitchen supplies. Definitely recommend this cutie. Five stars all the way.

I live in Florida and take my dog and a boat on vacations to other parts of Florida. This place was perfect for the two of us. I like to cook and the kitchen was well stocked and most useable, has all the utensils you may need and the appliances seemed new. Bathroom was clean, well supplied and had plenty of hot water. Sheets, towels, pillows were perfect. Slept like a log. Neighborhood is eclectic and quiet. Straight shot about 1/4 mile to the beach access over the dunes. Absolutely wonderful place to walk with your dog, no people from resorts and condos to deal with. Go early and catch the sunrise. I enjoyed my stay.

This was an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a quiet retreat with your dogs in tow. The view and beach accessibility were top-notch. The small, quaint cottage is rustic and charming. Having a complimentary bottle of wine from the local winery offered a nice, welcoming touch. I love Vilano Beach and I hope to stay here again in the future!

Amanda and Wesley were FANTASTIC hosts! We had a very unexpected problem and they handled it asap and offered solutions if we needed them. The house was stocked with all sorts of unexpected items one might need (cough drops, feminine products, aloe, etc.). My family made wonderful memories at the Crescent Beach House and we look forward to staying again! Thank you Amanda and Wesley for opening your beautiful home to us!

It was a memorable vacation. The house was just as the listing showed and also the location to the beach is great. We had a swim in the pool and walked to the beach every day. I highly recommend the stay.
