Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Matagorda Bay

We loved our stay at the beach house! It was a perfect location right across from the beach. Some of our party went fishing, while the rest of us stayed at the house and enjoyed the views. They had tons of beach stuff and fun games in the garage, so that was a bonus!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beachfront Airbnb! The location was absolutely perfect — right on the beach with stunning ocean views that we enjoyed every morning and evening. It was peaceful, relaxing, and just what we were hoping for. What made this stay even more special was the host’s personal touch. We were celebrating my granddaughter’s birthday, and the host went out of their way to make it memorable by putting up a “Happy Birthday” banner just for her. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel incredibly welcome and appreciated. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable and had amazing views to wake up to. We can’t thank the host enough for their hospitality and attention to detail. Lovely place to stay! Stocked kitchen with spices and utensils. Lots of towels and essentials provided. Lisa, the local host, was absolutely wonderful! The view from the sunroom is breathtaking and loved watching the dolphins. The house does sit at the curve in the road and you see all the headlights at night if you're sitting outside. Not much noise reduction between second floor and first floor.

Close to beach, reasonably priced, nice house layout with a bathroom for each bedroom, would stay again.

We loved our Turtle Bay Retreat getaway! The home was very comfortable, and the host provided all the amenities for a bay front home. Unfortunately we didn't catch anything worth preparing, but we could have if we did! The outdoor grill and griddle were great for cooking our meals. We would have liked to have used the provided crab pot, but we didn't have the chance. Oh well, next time. We are already talking about going another time soon. Host was very kind and responded to my many inquiries very quickly.

JJ and Laura’s place was the perfect location. We had immediate walking access to the beach, a food mart, and a restaurant and grill. They were very responsive and their place was very clean. Would stay here again!!

This place is really a great spot to fish. They really have thought about all the items one might need to enjoy themselves. One of the better places I have stayed at as far as home away from home atmosphere.

Marianne and her husband were fantastic hosts! We really enjoyed our stay, we had a relaxing weekend. The area is very peaceful and calm. My kids and I really liked the area to fish and hang out at the beach.

We enjoyed a relaxing time at Michelle's. It was a perfect spot for us from which to make excursions to local birding hotspots such as Aransas and Goose Island, where we saw whooping cranes and way over 50 other species of bird, so we had a great time, as we are avid birdwatchers.

Perfect spot for a fishing trip on San Antonio Bay. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Super quiet and friendly neighborhood. Easy stay, which was what I needed.

We had an Amazing time, I will say because we are so close to the beach the mosquitos can be quite bad so bring a repellent and your like new again! Pictures do not do justice to the room. bigger than expected and very nice. I would definitely come back. Nora was a great host and also the co host was next door and super helpful! very quiet and peaceful ☺️

We loved the condo! Yes, it's outdated but the view makes up for it. The private deck was amazing especially at night. It's close to the beach and you have everything you need within distance. Great place to stay. We will definitely be back.

Great stay! Right in the water. If your guiding out of goose island the launch is a 2 minute walk. Great accommodations!

One of if not the nicest places we have stayed at, everything was Very Clean and in great condition.

We have an annual fishing trip that we take to target Tarpon and are always looking for a place to stay with a boat slip. Brandon's place fits the bill. We will be back.

Patti did a great job communicating throughout our stay here! We had a little mix up when checking in, but she was quick to respond and helped us get fully situated. The place itself was clean and organized. Beautiful spot!
