Beachfront holiday rental in Marina di Gutturu Flumini

Bau House was a sanctuary for our family hosting a family of 4 and 2 grandparents. We had plenty of communal space and the bedrooms were well equipped with each having its own bathroom! Daniele has thought of every detail and the house is just stunning aesthetically with his wonderful art and masterpieces. There is nothing the house does not have and even chairs and parasols for the beach. The beach is crystal clear and calm- perfect for families and a 2 minute walk. There is a great bar 10 mins walk along the sand called Kyma which has wonderful coffees, tranquil atmosphere and food! Daniele’s garden is a haven and his meticulous botanical skills create such a zen feeling- the outdoor shower is great addition to wash off the sandy kids before entering the house! We were so happy with our stay and will return again! Thank you Daniele! It was such a pleasure to meet you!

The house is very modernly furnished. The devices are all modern and easy to use. The wifi was very good. All rooms have air conditioning, which is very good and quiet. There are plenty of shower towels and hand towels. The bathrooms are very modern, the only thing missing is storage space in the lower bathroom. The location of the house is very good. The very nice beach and many good restaurants can be easily reached on foot. Free parking is available right outside the door. Communication with Andrea always worked very well. There could be more plates and pots, then you wouldn't have to turn on the dishwasher so often. There are plenty of glasses, cups and cutlery. The laundry rack is too small and there are definitely no cushions for the wooden loungers on the upper terrace. These are things that you can certainly change. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the house.

Beautiful experience in Calassetta. Perfect place to stay to relax and explore. Hostess is kind and very accommodating. Communication was easy. What a lovely place to visit.

Simone and Erika’s house is beautiful, spacious, clean, by the sea, big garden. A perfect relaxing place for holidays close to nice beaches. We would of like to have all the rules before arrival as there are quite a few and if you don’t follow all the rules you would get charged extra €€, i understand they need to put some rules but maybe for the next host better to send them before arrival. We had a lovely stay at this house. The place is as described and as commented upon by previous reviews. It is amazing to stay in a house by the beach. The garden is gorgeous with well maintained numerous flowering plants. Helpful hints- if you walk 5-10 mins to the right when you come out of the garden (aim for the garden gate with fish design!), the sea water is sandy and shallow with barely any pebbles or seaweed. Spiaggia di Punta Molentis is the best beach for kids and adults; beautiful, shallow water, unique with water on either side, and protected from wind. We would recommend hiring a car but there is a bus stop 5 mins from the house. Luisa was responsive to our queries. We struggled dealing with bins there, so I’d recommend just contacting her and getting her to deal with it any problems. Hot water in shower is on all the time but given the tank size, we’d recommend a timing strategy if there are multiple guests. Overall, felt totally refreshed after our say, thank you.

We loved our stay! The location is great, directly in front of a beautiful beach which was great for family and kids. We rented the house with friends and it was a perfect size for two families. It has two main rooms on different floors and an open space with two beds for kids. It was very clean and the mattresses were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed in terms of utensils and it was well organised. The location is a bit remote which we liked. There is a place to get a coffee on the beach and a fruit seller that we could walk to. Francesca was welcoming and was available for any questions.

staying at Vincenzo's house was like being guests of a friend, the house is equipped with everything you need to experience everyday life but the real added value is the view...seeing the sea and the wonderful sunsets while dining is priceless.... without considering that the house is customized for surfers or kiter as it has outdoor spaces for washing equipment and great spots off the tourist routes.

Rita and Riccardo were amazing hosts. So friendly and helpful. Our arrival was late and they even offered to get us things for breakfast the next morning. They were very friendly and offered local recommendations. Their house was dreamy and we look forward to staying with them again in the future. I HIGHLY recommend this house and these people for your vacation plans.

Dalia is an exquisite and kind person. The apartment is a relaxing place with a beautiful view from the terrace, especially out of season, on an island that is a real gem. We spent a few days of our honeymoon there and honestly it was never so worth it, we hope to be able to return. Recommended for those who want to spend a few days completely disconnecting from their daily lives. Francesco and Giulia

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was exactly as described—very clean, nicely decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. I highly recommend renting a car if you want to explore the area—there’s so much to see, and having your own transport makes it easy to get around. Marina and Enrico were incredibly kind and helpful, always available if we needed anything, and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again—highly recommended!

Wonderful hosts, very friendly and responsive. Lovely people and stunning place. Peaceful place to recharge from daily hustle. Can recommend to have some Italian plate of local cheese, ham and olives with red wine during sunset time - it was amazing. Refreshing at local sight la grotta in walking distance was exceptional as well. Come here! The Host Carola was also very flexible and always there for us. Great contact!

We (parents and a year old baby) stayed a week and found it just perfect! We grilled and bathed in the pool with the baby on the windy days. We rented a car and you will soon be on the beautiful beaches of the area and of course close careers. The house looks the same as in the pictures and Gabriele lovingly prepared everything for our baby ( high chair with fasteners, toys, baby water, air mattress in the garden,swing and slide)! He inquired every day if we needed anything. He also gave us good tips for restaurants and things to do. Check-in and check-out were flexible ( thank you so much) and straightforward. Just perfect !!

It was a marvellous place to stay. Great view. Super close to the nice wild beach. Happy to have been there in September. Everything was super calm. People around very helpful and friendly. Sylvia from Rent Sardinia was very kind and always looked for prompt solutions. Would definitely go back for a next stay.

Beautiful house, very clean. Very well equipped. You definitely need a car to get to the beautiful beaches. 20 min to Cagliari. Near a grocery store. Perfect location to relax

After two weeks of travelling in 3 big cities we were exhausted and needed some rest and quiet. Tony's place was perfect. It is quiet, private and has everything you need. There is supermarket just a few kilometres along the main road, back toward town driving there. The kitchen is perfectly equipped to prepare homecooked meals. It is easy to drive to some picture perfect quiet beaches perfect for swimming and with only few people to share it with you. Also, a lovely drive to Calasetta through picturesque countryside. The beach has a lot of kelp along it but it does NOT smell at all and is a pleasant easy walk. The uninterrupted views and calm waters are fantastic. Towards the back of the house are hills and green countryside. We loved our stay. We loved the reconnection with nature.

The house was super clean and the views were incredible. It was nice to eat on the terrace. You can see the Island of San Pietro and Sant Antonio from the balcony. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable and nice. We went with our 2-year-old daughter and we were very comfortable, they also provided a cot and a high chair for her. We also really enjoyed the barbecue. It is a quiet town ideal for resting. It has a small but very pleasant market. It's a great starting point for exploring the southwest of the island by car. The ferry port to go to the island of San Pietro is very close to the house. We are very happy and would repeat!

Having a Villa so close to the beach was wonderful. It was a roomie two bedroom villa with a very nice patio.

great experience in spring. Beachfront house with beautiful views. We had a great time, outside there is a large table that allows you to eat outdoors enjoying a priceless view. The only downside is the house is a little dark, but wanting to be outdoors as much as possible was not a problem at all! Recommended!

Mariano’s is an excellent host, welcomed us when we arrived and showed us everything in the airbnb. The beach is right around the corner, grocery store and pharmacy is very close as well, about 10 minute walk or less. Mariano went above and beyond and drove to the airport to drop off my wallet that i forgot without me asking :) 10/10 would book again.

We spent a week as a family with four kids at the house. It was spotless clean, very well maintained and equipped. It’s a very modern, newly furnished villa. The interior has been designed very beautifully with a lot of attention for detail. The kitchen has been equipped very thoughtfully and with everything that you need, from different wine glasses too barista corner with offered all different type of coffee options. It was also very nice and helpful, that when we arrived there was an initial food and beverage packets including a bottle of wine, prosecco and bear. The beach is very close and beautiful and perfect to relax and spend a day on the beach even with little kids. At the villa you have everything that you need for a day at the beach, sun chairs and sun umbrellas on a small carrier to take it easily to the beach and it even has two SUPs you can take. The owners were very responsive and helped us with recommendations. We can only recommend the villa.
