Family-friendly holiday rentals in Marina di Casalvelino

Pasquale was a very kind and caring guest! He personally welcomed us by explaining how much there was to know in the house, which is comfortable, spacious and perfect for us (five adults and two small children, and a sixth person could have slept there comfortably). In the garden you can relax on the loungers, eat around the large table and have a barbecue in the outdoor oven. And above all, enjoy a paradisiacal view of the sea. In the early morning, with a cup of smoking coffee, we felt in paradise. In the living room there is also a fireplace: we didn't need it, but on colder days it would have been perfect! Comfortable kitchen, fully equipped, with washing machine and dishwasher and comfortable bathrooms. We only thought we would spend the night and then explore the beautiful Pisciotta just minutes away from the house, but in the end we housed the whole day in the house and in the garden, feeling very very, very lucky! We'll be happy to come back and we'll recommend it to our friends!

We've had a wonderful stay in Tavore. The apartment is peaceful and quiet located further uphill in an area outside of the very touristy spots in Amalfi coast. There's a beautiful garden right in front of the apartment with cats and sheep and a view of the ocean. Rosa and Antonio are wonderful hosts, very communicative and friendly and not invasive. Like others have mentioned, the apartment is a little bit clammy and it can get a bit chilly during spring or fall since Tavore is higher up than other towns and temperatures are a bit lower. This however is not a big deal, there are blankets and a hot jacuzzi, and it even may be a huge plus during the hotter months.

This is possibly the best value for money Air BnB property that I have ever stayed at. The unit is all on one level, with parking and a local bus (essential if you want to avoid driving the exciting roads every day) right outside the front door. The patio looks out onto the most beautiful valley, with Amalfi and the Adriatic Sea always in view. Everything is new and works well. Federico and Salvatore were extremely responsive and friendly, including when we had to leave unexpectedly early on the last day. One of the best things is the very friendly and quiet village of Pogerola, filled with tiny but excellent grocery shops and restaurants. And when you want more excitement, you can easily take the bus (a mix of locals and tourists) to the main square of Amalfi. From there, you can take inexpensive ferries to anywhere you want on the Amalfi coast. I am so glad we did this vs the hotels that were 200% the price, and I am coming back if I have anything to say about it. Carla

Wonderful place, in the middle of the olive groves, we enjoyed the beautiful view and the nice garden every day, where our dog could roam freely. Absolutely recommended, with the note that the access road is poor and very steep, so you do have to dare to drive a bit.

We had a lovely stay here – the pool is absolutely amazing, our 12-year-old spent most of his time in it! We loved our little house as well – it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Annapaola was a great host, really helpful, and so easy to get in touch with if we had any questions (Domenico was brilliant too!), and very quick to respond. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed a boat trip one day, which Annapaola recommended. The town is great fun at night, and there are supermarkets within 5-10 minutes drive. There werent many reviews about Ilenias Villa so we were a little nervous - however we shouldnt have been nervous. The apartment occupies all of the bottom floor (other than one room) and its HUGE. The photos dont do it justice. It was immaculately clean, the kitchen is better equipped than any we have stayed in including my own. Brand new high spec branded cooker, fridge and coffee maker. It had everything we needed. Parking was secure, outdoor dining was great and enjoyed the sunsets across the valley every night. We rarely saw the owners so it was very private. To drive to the beach was around 5mins but realistically if you are 2 hours away from Naples you will have a hire car anyway. The pool was beautiful and clean and there were plenty of deck chairs around it. Washing facilities very convenient. Plenty of restaurants in the local area and the most local beach is really beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place - we couldnt want for any more.

Antonello and his family went above and beyond for me and my guests during our stay. Angela was an amazing employee and I wish I could have an Angela for everywhere I go. The villa is magical and truly indescribable. You have to be there to experience it. The views are breathtaking and the village is quiet and precious.

Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Marilisa! JJ met us and helped with our bags which was greatly appreciated. Annalisa welcomed us at their beautiful villa. The villa is very spacious and the outdoor space was gorgeous and so peaceful. And the views are amazing. JJ was very helpful in arranging transportation, and booked a wonderful boat tour for us too. The steps to restaurants are plentiful - we found them rewarding and justified eating extra knowing we would get our steps in : ) Would absolutely stay here again. Spacious accommodation with a courtyard to park the car and within walking distance of excellent restaurants, shops with very good value for money and the bus stop that serves the coast and Naples. It takes 40 minutes by car to reach the coast but it is quite central to radiate. Breathtaking Trail of the Gods accessible by public transport or car in 15 min. Good advice from Niklas. Ideal with our children aged 3 and 5. Retro decor, basic cooking equipment, firm double bedding but still worth the cost for its location in a village far from the crowds.

This is our third year in a row staying here, and it always feels like home. Yes, the steps are A LOT, so be ready for that, and do ask Pietro to arrange a porter to help with your bags for a fee. Pietro always leaves some thoughtful things in the kitchen for breakfast - we usually stop at a grocery on the way to the house or take a water taxi to Amalfi to get things to cook. And we do highly recommend using the water taxi to get around the coast - the buses don’t always reliably stop at the hotel. But most of all, enjoy the time just sitting on the terrace staring at the sea. It’s so peaceful and is just like being in Paradise.

I was looking for a quiet place with a large beach and I found it right here. The location is ideal: close to the train station, convenient for getting everywhere, but at the same time in a quiet area perfect for resting. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. I really felt at home. It was a fantastic experience and I would gladly return… In fact, I have already booked again. I highly recommend it!

The view is amazing! The town is walkable and lower key than the surrounding towns.

Amelia's place was right in the heart of Amalfi, so convenient! Amelia was so kind and helped us out with a few things during our stay - a great host.

If hospitality had a face, she would have Raffaele's who welcomed us as if we were part of the family, with incredible generosity. Full of food, fruit, limoncello, pasta and passata, honey and delicious olive oil from its production, enough to eat for two days. As well as the famous lemons from its plantation. Ahh, Amalfi's lemons, I already miss their bewitching scent and it was a pleasure to walk through the lemon trees every morning. The views are incomparable from the terrace on the Mediterranean. The house is lovely, comfortable, clean, it feels good. Raffaele prodigal full of good tips for visiting the surroundings that are full of beautiful places - this coast is truly one of the most beautiful in the world! The kids loved the company of cats, Raffaele's salad, the solarium for teenagers. In short, everyone wants to come back to this fragrant little paradise.

Atrani is a wonderful location if you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience! It is a quick walk to Amalfi and all its transportation hubs, restaurants, shops, (and crowds!), but feels worlds away from the congestion. Hosts were friendly and helpful, and we loved our time at the beach and in the square. The friendly local cats were a bonus!

The residence is really lovely. To the beauty of the place, it adds impeccable cleanliness and a great restaurant. Carmelo is very helpful and attentive to the needs of guests. We stayed with three children, who have not stopped asking us when we left when we would be back. In short, the ideal place for a family vacation, with the possibility for adults to carve out some space, while the little ones roam with their peers for the residence (but very safe).

This house is absolutely beautiful! Our family had the most relaxing vacation at Villa Angelina and felt right at home. Located in the beautiful mountains of Cilento, this house felt like paradise. Plus, we were in driving distance to many incredible towns and sites, and we enjoyed exploring the area! We cooked many meals and enjoyed the pristine pool. Finally, Sofia was so kind and helpful; she responded quickly to every question we had! I hope we can come back again someday!

There were two of us traveling with a baby and we felt extraordinarily comfortable. Maria was super friendly and helpful. The village is really wonderfully located and in spring summer certainly perfect for numerous day hikes or by car to the sea. Bar, Marcellaria, Pizzeria, Alimentari all available. In the sunshine you have a wonderful view up to the coast and sometimes to Lipari. The municipality of Tortorella is generally super hospitable and if you want you can even have homemade food brought into the accommodation. We had really nice and cozy days despite winter. Maria was always available for questions, tips, etc. You can tell that you care about the place itself.

When we arrived it was out of season, but still loved being next to the beach. Bit of a job finding open restaurants, this is only because if the time of year. Saw enough restaurants getting ready for the season to know there would be lots to choose from. Nina was a great host and extremely helpful. Loved the stay. Thank you!

What can I say, if you are looking for a beautiful location with friendly and always available Hosts, you can't find better. Apartment equipped with all comforts, quiet pool and perfect if you want to spend a relaxing day. If we return to Cilento it will be a must!! Hope to see you soon. 😍

Tony's Loft is immersed in the tranquility of the Cilento countryside, but allows you to easily reach all the seaside or cultural resorts that Cilento offers. Strategic and relaxing location, favored by the presence of the pool, shared with the other guests. Tony is very kind and gives good advice. The apartment is simple and tidy, it has everything you need to spend healthy holidays by the sea. Recommended for families.

I really appreciated the cleanliness of the accommodation and the convenience of the pool. The surrounding area was quiet and private, ideal for relaxing.
