Family-friendly holiday rentals in Marina di Casalvelino

Pasquale è stato ospite gentilissimo e premuroso! Ci ha accolti personalmente spiegandoci quanto c'era da sapere in casa, che è comoda, ampia e perfetta per noi (cinque adulti e due bimbe piccole, e una sesta persona vi avrebbe potuto dormire altrettanto comodamente). In giardino è possibile rilassarsi sulle sdraio, mangiare intorno al grande tavolo e fare un barbecue nel forno esterno. E soprattutto godere di una vista paradisiaca del mare. Al mattino presto, con una tazza di caffè fumante, ci sentivamo in paradiso. Nel soggiorno c'è anche il camino: non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno ma in giorni più freddi sarebbe stato perfetto! Cucina comoda, attrezzatissima, con lavatrice e lavastoviglie e bagni comodi. Pensavamo di passarci solo la notte e poi di esplorare la bellissima Pisciotta a pochi minuti di distanza dalla casa, ma alla fine abbiamo poltrito tutto il giorno in casa e nel giardino, sentendoci molto molto fortunati! Ci farà piacere tornare e lo raccomanderemo ai nostri amici!

We've had a wonderful stay in Tavore. The apartment is peaceful and quiet located further uphill in an area outside of the very touristy spots in Amalfi coast. There's a beautiful garden right in front of the apartment with cats and sheep and a view of the ocean. Rosa and Antonio are wonderful hosts, very communicative and friendly and not invasive. Like others have mentioned, the apartment is a little bit clammy and it can get a bit chilly during spring or fall since Tavore is higher up than other towns and temperatures are a bit lower. This however is not a big deal, there are blankets and a hot jacuzzi, and it even may be a huge plus during the hotter months.

This is possibly the best value for money Air BnB property that I have ever stayed at. The unit is all on one level, with parking and a local bus (essential if you want to avoid driving the exciting roads every day) right outside the front door. The patio looks out onto the most beautiful valley, with Amalfi and the Adriatic Sea always in view. Everything is new and works well. Federico and Salvatore were extremely responsive and friendly, including when we had to leave unexpectedly early on the last day. One of the best things is the very friendly and quiet village of Pogerola, filled with tiny but excellent grocery shops and restaurants. And when you want more excitement, you can easily take the bus (a mix of locals and tourists) to the main square of Amalfi. From there, you can take inexpensive ferries to anywhere you want on the Amalfi coast. I am so glad we did this vs the hotels that were 200% the price, and I am coming back if I have anything to say about it. Carla

Heerlijke plek, midden in de olijfgaarden, we hebben elke dag genoten van het schitterende uitzicht en de fijne tuin, waar onze hond vrij kon rondlopen. Absoluut een aanrader, met de kanttekening dat de toegangsweg slecht en erg steil is, dus je moet wel een beetje durven autorijden.

We had a lovely stay here – the pool is absolutely amazing, our 12-year-old spent most of his time in it! We loved our little house as well – it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Annapaola was a great host, really helpful, and so easy to get in touch with if we had any questions (Domenico was brilliant too!), and very quick to respond. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed a boat trip one day, which Annapaola recommended. The town is great fun at night, and there are supermarkets within 5-10 minutes drive. Thank you for a great holiday :)

There werent many reviews about Ilenias Villa so we were a little nervous - however we shouldnt have been nervous. The apartment occupies all of the bottom floor (other than one room) and its HUGE. The photos dont do it justice. It was immaculately clean, the kitchen is better equipped than any we have stayed in including my own. Brand new high spec branded cooker, fridge and coffee maker. It had everything we needed. Parking was secure, outdoor dining was great and enjoyed the sunsets across the valley every night. We rarely saw the owners so it was very private. To drive to the beach was around 5mins but realistically if you are 2 hours away from Naples you will have a hire car anyway. The pool was beautiful and clean and there were plenty of deck chairs around it. Washing facilities very convenient. Plenty of restaurants in the local area and the most local beach is really beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place - we couldnt want for any more.

Antonello and his family went above and beyond for me and my guests during our stay. Angela was an amazing employee and I wish I could have an Angela for everywhere I go. The villa is magical and truly indescribable. You have to be there to experience it. The views are breathtaking and the village is quiet and precious.

Absolutely loved our stay at Villa Marilisa! JJ met us and helped with our bags which was greatly appreciated. Annalisa welcomed us at their beautiful villa. The villa is very spacious and the outdoor space was gorgeous and so peaceful. And the views are amazing. JJ was very helpful in arranging transportation, and booked a wonderful boat tour for us too. The steps to restaurants are plentiful - we found them rewarding and justified eating extra knowing we would get our steps in : ) Would absolutely stay here again. Wonderful villa, wonderful hosts, and wonderful views : )

Logement spacieux avec une cour pour garer la voiture et à distance de marche d'excellents restaurants, de commerçants avec un très bon rapport qualité prix et de l'arrêt de bus qui dessert la côte et Naples. Il faut bien 40 minutes en voiture pour rejoindre la côte mais c'est assez central pour rayonner. Sentier des dieux époustouflant accessible en transport en commun ou voiture en 15 min. Bons conseils de Niklas. Idéal avec nos enfants de 3 et 5 ans. Décoration rétro, équipements de base pour cuisiner, literie du lit double ferme mais vaut quand même le cout pour son emplacement dans un village loin des foules.

This is our third year in a row staying here, and it always feels like home. Yes, the steps are A LOT, so be ready for that, and do ask Pietro to arrange a porter to help with your bags for a fee. Pietro always leaves some thoughtful things in the kitchen for breakfast - we usually stop at a grocery on the way to the house or take a water taxi to Amalfi to get things to cook. And we do highly recommend using the water taxi to get around the coast - the buses don’t always reliably stop at the hotel. But most of all, enjoy the time just sitting on the terrace staring at the sea. It’s so peaceful and is just like being in Paradise.

Cercavo un posto tranquillo con una spiaggia grande e l’ho trovato proprio qui. La posizione è ideale: vicino alla stazione dei treni, comoda per raggiungere tutto, ma allo stesso tempo in una zona tranquilla perfetta per riposarsi. L’appartamento è esattamente come mostrato nelle foto. Mi sono sentito/a davvero a casa. È stata un’esperienza fantastica e tornerei volentieri… Infatti, ho già prenotato di nuovo. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Vincenzina è stata un host molto accogliente, amichevole e proattivo. Anche se solo per una notte ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Se capiterà occasione, torneremo con piacere nel suo splendido appartamento.

Che dire, un soggiorno da incorniciare. Lontano dal caos di Positano e Amalfi, l'alloggio di Giacchino permette di godere appieno della costiera amalfitana in un piccolo borgo, Conca dei Marini, una perla sottovalutata e poco considerata dal turismo di massa della costiera. C'è tutto quello che occorre, e la terrazza permette di godere di una vista che ogni giorno regala emozioni. Se penso di tornare in costiera amalfitana, sicuramente sarà da Gioacchino.

Amelia's place was right in the heart of Amalfi, so convenient! Amelia was so kind and helped us out with a few things during our stay - a great host.

Si l’hospitalité avait un visage, elle aurait celui de Raffaele qui nous a accueillis comme si nous faisions partie de la famille, avec une incroyable générosité. Plein de victuailles, des fruits, du limoncello, des pâtes et de la passata, du miel et de l’huile d’olive délicieuse de sa production, de quoi manger pour deux jours. Ainsi que les fameuses citrons de sa plantation. Ahh, les citrons d’Amalfi, leur parfum envoûtant me manque déjà et c’était un bonheur de cheminer à travers les citronniers tous les matins. La vue est incomparable depuis la terrasse sur la Méditerranée. La maison est charmante, confortable, propre, on s’y sent bien. Raffaele prodigue pleins de bons conseils pour visiter les environs qui regorgent de beaux endroits - cette côte est vraiment l’une des plus belles du monde ! Les enfants ont adoré la compagnie des chats, la salade de Raffaele, le solarium pour les ados. Bref, tout le monde veut revenir dans ce petit paradis parfumé.

Atrani is a wonderful location if you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience! It is a quick walk to Amalfi and all its transportation hubs, restaurants, shops, (and crowds!), but feels worlds away from the congestion. Hosts were friendly and helpful, and we loved our time at the beach and in the square. The friendly local cats were a bonus!

Wonderful! We had the entire place to ourselves, the views are amazing! Loved and would definitely stay there again.

Il residence è veramente incantevole. Alla bellezza del luogo, si aggiunge una pulizia impeccabile ed un ottimo ristorante. Carmelo è molto disponibile e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Abbiamo soggiornato con tre bambini, che da quando siamo andati via non hanno smesso di chiederci quando saremmo ritornati. Insomma, il posto ideale per una vacanza con la famiglia, con la possibilità per gli adulti di ritagliarsi qualche spazio, mentre i piccoli vagabondano con i coetanei per il residence (peraltro molto sicuro).

This house is absolutely beautiful! Our family had the most relaxing vacation at Villa Angelina and felt right at home. Located in the beautiful mountains of Cilento, this house felt like paradise. Plus, we were in driving distance to many incredible towns and sites, and we enjoyed exploring the area! We cooked many meals and enjoyed the pristine pool. Finally, Sofia was so kind and helpful; she responded quickly to every question we had! I hope we can come back again someday!

Wir waren zu zweit mit Baby unterwegs und haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt. Maria war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Dorf ist wirklich wunderbar gelegen und im Frühling Sommer sicherlich perfekt für zahlreiche Tageswanderungen oder mit dem Auto ans Meer. Bar, Marcellaria, Pizzeria, Alimentari alles vorhanden. Bei Sonnenschein hat man ein wunderbaren Blick bis an die Küste und ganz manchmal wohl bis Lipari. Die Gemeinde Tortorella ist allgemein super gastfreundlich und wenn man will kann man sich sogar hausgemachtes Essen in die Unterkunft bringen lassen. Wir hatten trotz Winter wirklich schöne und gemütliche Tage. Maria war jederzeit ansprechbar bezüglich Fragen Tips etc. Man merkt, dass ihr der Ort selbst am Herzen liegt.

When we arrived it was out of season, but still loved being next to the beach. Bit of a job finding open restaurants, this is only because if the time of year. Saw enough restaurants getting ready for the season to know there would be lots to choose from. Nina was a great host and extremely helpful. Loved the stay. Thank you!

Che dire se si cerca una splendida location con degli Host cordiali e sempre disponibili non si può trovare di meglio. Appartamento dotato di tutti i confort, piscina tranquilla e perfetta se si vuole passare una giornata in relax. Se faremo ritorno in Cilento sarà tappa obbligata!! Si spera a presto 😍

Il Loft di Tony è immerso nella tranquillità della campagna cilentana, ma permette di raggiungere facilmente tutte le località balneari o culturali che il Cilento offre. Posizione strategica e rilassante, favorita dalla presenza della piscina, condivida con gli altri ospiti. Tony è gentilissimo ed elargisce buoni consigli. L’appartamento è semplice e ordinato, ha tutto il necessario per trascorrere sane vacanze al mare. Consigliato per famiglie.

Ho apprezzato molto la pulizia dell'alloggio e la comodità della piscina. L'area circostante era tranquilla e riservata, ideale per rilassarsi. Questo ha contribuito a rendere il soggiorno un'esperienza davvero piacevole. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura per una vacanza serena e rigenerante. Spero di poterci tornare presto.
