Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Marina

This house is awesome for family adventures. It had every possible amenity for a vacation getaway you could need. The house was spotless upon our arrival and well-organized, with a detailed list of items available to ensure you had a great time. The Pacific Ocean is viewable from the second floor porch which seated six comfortably around the propane fire pit. There were many toys available for families traveling with children. Our toddler granddaughter really enjoyed playing with the many toys. The kitchen was well stocked with modern appliances. The location was just a few minutes' drive to downtown Monterey and Fisherman's Wharf. We absolutely recommend this Airbnb house in the Monterey area. Our host Meli was awesome. She communicated with us from the time we made the reservation until we left. Her instructions for the house were clear and concise. We contacted her twice while we were there and she responded to our questions within minutes. Meli is a top-notch host.

Great place to stretch out and relax, with so much natural light that we rarely needed to turn on the overhead lights. We enjoyed cozying up in front of the fireplace and hanging out on the back porch. The well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The house is in a lovely neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach. Easy to access the heart of town on foot or by car. My only note would be to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, as one of the bedrooms is next to a busy road.

You will not regret staying here. Debra and David were so incredibly nice. The house and the outdoors/garden are beautiful. We loved the hot tub being off the master suite and the fact there are no neighbors so it’s incredibly quiet. It’s in a great location near both downtown and the fairgrounds. We can’t wait to return. We might need to add more nights because we had such a fantastic time. Thanks Debra. So great to meet you and David!!

Vincent was very responsive! His place was just like the pictures, very clean & a quiet neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hummingbird (and saw hummingbirds at the feeders in the back yard). There were 6 of us (including our 2 teenagers and my parents) and it was comfortable and peaceful. The garden in the back is a work of art! We loved looking at how beautiful everything was placed and masterfully pruned. Very lovely and reminded me of being in Japan. My 14-year old son said it was his favorite place because of the granola bars, Ramen, and hot chocolate Shiho graciously stocks for guests. And the kitchen had all the little things you wish you had when you’re away from home, like sandwich baggies and a plastic spoon for your lunch. We made all our meals and ate at home every night. She had everything we needed to make meals. Shiho is a lovely hostess and has thought through little things to make your stay pleasant. The sheets were so soft. Plenty of towels in the bathroom and everything was spotless. We felt at home and would love to stay there again.

This is one of the cleanest Airbnb we have stayed at. The neighbor is quiet and beautiful views from the backyard patio. Bunzi place is stocked with many cookware & towels. We had fun in the playroom. Highly recommend. 10-15 mins from Fisherman worth and Cannery Row.

A million Mahalos Vic and Leanne. We had an amazing time at your place in the Redwoods. First I want to say WOW, not only was this place clean, it was spotless. We felt like we were the first people who've ever stepped foot in the air bnb. Vic and Leanne had everything thing we needed and beyond. They really took their time when they put this place together. Their kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to put our meals together and the grocery store was only a few minutes away. Via and Leanne also had a ton of wonderful tips in their welcome binder. The prime location of Vic and Leanne's place made daily trips to Henry Cowell state park a must. Vic and Leanne are amazing hosts who made my family feel welcome and right at home. This place is heaven in the Redwoods for sure. Aloha Vic and Leanne!

The house was perfect for 3 guys for a pebble beach golf trip. Carolyn was proactive and very helpful, and the house was clean and cozy! Please go to Mezzaluna if you stay!

Matthew was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The space itself was very clean and in a peaceful location, with some great hiking trails nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

This spot was great for a weekend getaway! Right at the start of Lighthouse Ave where all the shops and restaurants are located. We were able to walk to the beach as well which was lovely. My partner and I felt extremely safe walking around at night as well. The space was very clean and cozy. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Monterey area. We’ll definitely be back as well:)

Suzy’s place was perfect! I was in town for a wedding held at Shadowbrook and Suzy’s place was within walking distance to not only the restaurant but also all the spots in the village. Suzy was super responsive and worked with me. Even though I wasn’t able to check in early, we worked it out so that I could at least park in the designated parking spot so that we could walk around town while things were being cleaned. The place was super safe and private. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town!

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend! The place was very clean a day modern. We loved all of the amenities they offered. it was the perfect place for our family of 4 to relax in such a beautiful space. Thank you! We will be back!

We have stayed at many beach hotels and apartments and this may have been the best. Beautiful view of the beach, which is pretty quiet. And you can walk on the beach for a couple of hours in either direction. Also really enjoyed the location in Watsonville, which is the strawberry capital of the US. And nice to have Monterey and Santa Cruz nearby. Communicaiton with Pajaro Dunes was very good and helpful. Look forward to coming back.

I had a wonderful stay, Jeff was so helpful arranging a last-minute trip and was a fantastic host. The studio was very quiet and peaceful and I enjoyed spending time on the patio in the back. It was a great place to spend some time in the Carmel area.

We love staying here to visit our daughter. The neighborhood is charming and super quiet! The place is spacious, comfortable and very clean! We keep coming back to this place when we are in town! This place feels like a second home to us!

This house was a beautiful and it provides easy access to everything that Pacific Grove and Monterrey had to offer. When you walked into the house, it felt like home. Most importantly, Jane was the perfect host. She is always available to make your stay enjoyable. Everything we needed was there. I love sitting in the living room sofa and enjoying the great views. I loved the outside fire pit for those cold days when you wanted to sit and watch the world go by and to watch the seals sleeping across the street. You could not do any better than this place. My family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean and well-maintained, which made it feel welcoming and comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning and added a special touch to the experience. On top of that, the host was outstanding—extremely responsive and genuinely committed to ensuring a great stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate any needs, which made everything seamless. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful spot. Quality home in a beautiful location. Very peaceful beach - great for families. We made a fire on the beach for s'mores. The pool/spa was busy but well maintained.

Great View and Weather!

A minor issue with our original reservation was quickly resolved by the PowerWest Team. They responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and had a perfect trip. The unit is a beautiful, well equipped condo with spectacular ocean front views. We will definitely visit again and stay with PowerWest.

The home is large with many decks for enjoying the beautiful mountain top views. We were in town for a wedding and had 7 people in our group: 2 couples and 3 singles. The sleeping and bathrooms worked out great and included using the Murphy bed in the large living room and the guesthouse. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, knives, flatware… everything you need. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and towels were nice. The home is a little dated, it’s exactly what you see in the pictures, and was a great place at a reasonable price for our large group.

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The host was responsive and easy to work with, and the resort itself is stunning—perched above the water with incredible views. The home was spotless inside and out, and everything worked exactly as it should. We honestly wished we didn’t have to leave. It was the perfect place for us to escape the grind of unending obligations and just relax. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like; if we had one small wish, it would be for all three TVs to be smart TVs. We’ll definitely be booking this same place again the next time we’re in the area.

Great home with gorgeous views of the redwoods!! We were all confused as to why there was no dish soap or trash bags to use, but it had everything else!!
