Great place to stay , stunning views the sunset was amazing will definitely comeback to this place.

We have spent a week in familly. The house is well located, near the center and surf spots. The house is incredible, very modern with great equipments. We had a great time there !

Asta’s house was beautiful, spacious, and super well equipped. She was super flexible about check in and helped us organize nearby activities. Would definitely return!

Beautiful views from the house. Located in the forest with a waterfall in the garden. Cambutal is a magical place.

Great location in the penthouse. Loved the view and all the restaurants around. Swam out to the island, but not recommended unless you are in great shape. 1 mile each way with sideways current and waves. Loved the hotel and the care they took of us.

My family and I loved our stay at Casa Gerard! Tim was a wonderful host, communicative, provided suggestions for both Cambutal and Panama City, friendly, and happy to host. Yvonne has a beautiful place - an entire former hotel - just a few minutes walk from Playa la Reina, which is a lovely beach with a big river (Rio Mariato). This is a gentle spot for surfing but a bit rough for swimming unless you catch it at the right time (mid to low tide seemed to have the gentlest waves). Near the mangroves. Fantastic birds. Be sure to visit the beach at night too - we saw beautiful neon blue phosphorescent plankton, just as the outer waves were breaking... Yvonne was super responsive and friendly, she answered all our questions really quickly. And her housekeeper Fatima was wonderful. She came in to clean each morning, she was extremely kind and helpful. This is great spot especially if you're a big group - there's a large well equipped kitchen for cooking, a gas grill for bbq, a big shaded eating area right next to the pool, all surrounded by lots of smaller nearby buildings with bedrooms - possibility to sleep 12 in total.

Wonderful location with fantastic view, spacious and well equipped facilities. We were a family of 4 and had an excellent and relaxing vacation. The administrators (Aaron and Brittany) were friendly and very helpful with everything we needed during the he course of our stay. Aaron even had an excellent selection of surfboards @lunanegra.

We spent a few quiet days over Christmas at this location. We found the house comfortable and it had a large porch with great view of the ocean. We ate our meals and played euchre there enjoying the sounds of nature. Arrangements were easily made and we loved sleeping to the sound of the waves. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was awesome! Talked behind a couple very cute restaurants. It is incredibly convenient, but at the same time is tucked away and its own privacy and quiet space. Everything I needed was in the house, which was by the way absolutely stunning. Steven was incredible in helping me book surf, snorkeling, and just answering general questions. Very quick to respond, kind, and helpful. Would highly recommend

Amazing beachfront stay — perfect for families We had a wonderful stay at Emilie’s home. Communication was excellent—she sent us all the necessary information in advance, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free, even though we got there a bit late. The house was in perfect order and had everything we needed. The location is absolutely pristine—right in front of the ocean with stunning views. The terrace was our favorite spot to relax and enjoy lunch or dinner while listening to the waves. It’s also ideal for families: if you have older kids, they can play on the beach while you watch from the terrace. We’re very thankful for the late check-out, which allowed us to enjoy our last moments there without rushing. Cambutal is a peaceful, charming village, and we would love to return. Hope your experience is just as great as ours!

One of the most beautiful homes I’ve stayed in on Airbnb. Thoughtfully designed, well appointed, fresh cut flowers, great amenities (outdoor shower, hammock, excellent WiFi, surfboard rental)….the list goes on. Importantly for me, no clutter, yet the home had a spirit which is so often the struggle on this platform. The location itself is ocean front, shared with two other homes. Cambutal is remote, you do feel like you’re in paradise from time to time, but there are enough modern outposts in town for you to eat and shop. Cheers to our hosts, much gratitude for this wonderful home you’ve created. We hope to be back soon!
