Effie Oasis: Remodeled home on 40 beautiful acres!

Welcome to our Effie Oasis—a cozy, freshly remodeled cabin nestled into 40 beautiful acres of Aspen, Balsam, and Spruce forest. Unplug from technology and enjoy wandering our 2 miles of trails, curl up with a book on the oversized furniture, or play a game with the family at the kitchen table. Cap off the evening with a bonfire and some steaks on the grill! Just a few miles from state snowmobile trails Well behaved dogs are welcome in home, but not on furniture or beds. There is a $50 pet fee.

Lake Cabin

Our lake cabin is on a private lake with no public access (Please note, we do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to our steep hill). We are near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. We have 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. Our cabin is on over 4 acres, plenty of room to relax. We have a boathouse, dock, two kayaks, a small boat & motor, a fire pit grill and gas grill.

Log Cabin on Caribou Lake/Chippewa National Forest

Full scribed renovated log cabin located in the Chippewa National Forest on the pristine Caribou Lake. Hand built in the late 1970s the cabin has two bedrooms, a large loft, full kitchen, fireplace, & walk out basement yards from the lake. Modern amenities in a rustic atmosphere the cabin has 1000 LF of shoreline on a private shallow bay. Close to hiking, skiing, snowmobile & ATV trails. something for all seasons. **Due to Minnesota Lodging Laws we are no longer able to provide a hot tub**

Cozy Stone Cottage overlooking Smith Lake

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. The Stone Cottage on Smith Lake is the perfect historic space with modern amenities. You can fish off of the dock or make use of the provided boat and Kayak. Use the Traeger grill and outdoor seating area, hike local trails, roast marshmallows over one of several fire pits, and then cozy up for a meal cooked in the gorgeous modern kitchen. We have a library of books and games on hand for you to enjoy, comfortable beds, and an incredible view!

Hatch Lake Tiny House - Get Up North Retreats

Quiet, cozy and private year around cabin, with cedar lined wood burning Sauna on crystal clear Hatch Lake. Private dock and sandy shoreline with fishing or swimming right off the end of dock. Attached water way via large culvert provides access for canoe or kayak excursions into gorgeous Turtle Lake. 2 Kayaks, Canoe & Paddleboat available for guest use! Heat & AC provided by split system or get cozy in front of the Jotul propane stove Hunt & fish on and near the property.

Sweet little cedar log cabin is 40 feet from Caribou lake. Full kitchen, bathroom with shower, cozy bed and living area, get a breeze off the lake in the summer, and enjoy in floor heat in the cold season. This year round cabin for two is the perfect place for a romantic get away. Swim, fish, hike, mountain bike in the summer, hunt in the fall, cross county ski the Suomi hills in the winter and mushroom hunt and fish in the spring. A great place to get away from it all.

“The Nun's Cabin” Tiny House on the River

Immerse yourself in nature and try out a tiny home! The Nun’s Cabin is an elevated glamping experience with electric, heat, and indoor plumbing. A fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom, and a loft bedroom with a ladder create a perfect setting for your next up-north get-away.
