Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Die Unterkunft war genau wie auf den Fotos, alles war sauber, die Küche war gut ausgestattet und es waren auch schon ein paar Kleinigkeiten zu essen vor Ort. Stelios war super nett, hat schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und uns auch einen variablen check in und Out ermöglicht. Während unseres Aufenthaltes kam es durch den Saharastaub zu Verunreinigungen des Pools und des Gartens, worum sich Stelios sofort gekümmert hat. Das einzig Negative, wofür Stelios aber nichts kann, sind die lauten Jets vom Militär, die in der Nähe starten. Ansonsten hat man seine Ruhe und kann den Garten und den Pool genießen. Wie können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

We had a fantastic stay at this villa in Crete! The location was absolutely perfect—centrally positioned on the island, it made exploring both the east and west sides, as well as all the nearby towns, super convenient. The house itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported throughout our visit. The grounds were impeccably maintained and much larger than the photos portray. One of the highlights was the charming taverna right next door, and there were plenty of other great restaurants less than 10 minutes away by car. The warm hospitality from everyone we met made it feel like a true home away from home. We can’t wait to return one day and would wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone planning a trip to Crete.

Fantastic stay in a great villa. Swimming pool on the roof is fabulous. Very well equipped property with everything you might need. Beds are really comfortable with ample air conditioning units in the rooms. Great location for touring Crete in the car, but a bit far out from Chania if you want to walk into the town. Taxis were readily available. Host is really helpful with recommendations.

We had the perfect stay at Villa Avrilla and Dimitris is a friendly and responsive host who helpfully navigated our complicated check in and check out requests. The Villa is very well equipped and stylish just like the photos and with plenty of lovely outdoor spaces and a great pool. The beds and showers are of high quality. A lovely welcome hamper and a bottle of wine was really appreciated. The location is fantastic, feeling very private but with shops, tavernas and a great beach just a stroll away. We would definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending to other guests.

Toute ma famille a passé une semaine de vacances incroyable dans ce logement. L’environnement est magnifique et paisible. L’exposition de la maison permet une vue imprenable sur la baie, les couchers de soleil y sont mémorables ! Nous avons eu du vent certains soirs mais nous avions été prévenus pour penser à veiller à rentrer nos affaires et éviter qu’elles s’envolent. Il y a plusieurs jolis coins dans le jardin où l’on peut s’assoir, profiter de la vue et il y a assez d’espace pour que tout le monde ait sa tranquillité ! L’intérieur de la maison est très propre, très bien rangé et décoré avec goût. Chaque chambre a sa salle d’eau et WC attenants ce qui est vraiment très appréciable. Les hôtes ont été très accueillants et d’une gentillesse remarquable ! Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour !

We had an incredible stay with our family. The photos do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. There were many lovely welcome food and drinks that we really appreciated. We had many activities and family in the area so we were out and about but were always looking forward to coming back to enjoy the house, the pool, and the gorgeous view. We also loved the hot tub when we got a little chilled from swimming since it was a bit early in season. We made sure to have a day to just do that. We used the indoor/outdoor theatre one night and that was really fun. All the rooms and the kitchen were perfectly appointed. Everything was so well thought out. We can’t wait to come again and stay longer and have time to use the outdoor kitchen, the gorgeous dining room and enjoy the beautiful pool and view again. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Dazu beigetragen haben die unglaublich lieben Besitzer und Helfer des Hauses, in Kombination mit dieser tollen Unterkunft. Wir waren ab der ersten Minute von der Insel und den Menschen überwältigt. Ich kann alles nur wärmstens empfehlen dieses Land und ihre Menschen kennenzulernen. Sie werden es lieben. Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Amazing home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. Atemberaubende Aussicht! Das Haus ist nagelneu, es entspricht genau den abgebildeten Bildern. Der Pool ist sehr groß & tagsüber gibt es einen perfekten Mix aus sonnigen und schattigen Plätzen. In der Nähe gibt es viele kleine Tavernen, man musste nie weit fahren. Ganz klare Empfehlung für diese Villa, sie ist perfekt & wir würden jederzeit liebend gerne wiederkommen!

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

The villa itself is pure luxury - spotlessly clean, tastefully designed, and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a relaxing and carefree stay. What truly made our holiday special, however, was the incredible hospitality of our host, Panagoula. Even before our arrival, she was in touch with me, patiently answering all our questions and making us feel welcome from the start. We were greeted with such warmth at the airport, and upon arrival at the villa, we found delightful culinary surprises and a beautiful selection of fresh fruit waiting for us. The mid-stay cleaning service after four days was a lovely touch, and we are especially grateful for Panagoula’s tireless support after the stormy weather – and for the delicious, healthy meal she brought us during the week! We cannot have asked for a better place to stay in Chania. The house is a gorgeous villa perfect for a large family vacation. The location is on a breathtaking hill overlooking the city and old Harbor. There are tons of windows letting in natural light. You can be an old town in eight minutes by car or about 45 minutes walking. There are plenty of local mini markets and restaurants nearby. Michalis was a model host, and gave us plenty of recommendations for day trips, restaurants, treats, activities, and gave us very kind gifts throughout our stay. If we ever return to Crete, we will be staying here again!

We had the most wonderful stay at Nimar Villas. We were a group of 7 and all agreed that it was a beautiful villa and had an incredible week. The view and sunsets are breathtaking, everything looks exactly like the photos if not better. Great host, made sure we had everything we needed and super responsive. Location is great but you must have a car if planning to leave the villa often. Would highly recommend and would love to return already!

Villa was incredible! Beautiful house, great location, gorgeous yard and pool area. Right next to the beach and restaurants and near grocery/market. Magical time had by myself and goddaughters! We will never forget it 💗

absolutely loved staying here. the views were gorgeous. had a small hiccup with the water when we checked in but as soon as I messaged the host the water was up and working within 15 minutes. very responsive and very helpful. definitely recommend!

La casa es espectacular, estuvimos súper cómodos. Fuimos un grupo de 10 y había espacio de sobra para todos, varias zonas comunes y dos espectaculares terrazas con piscinas. La vista realmente te deja loca, es una preciosidad. El anfitrión fue súper amable con nosotros en todo momento y nos dio recomendaciones estupendas. El propietario tiene un restaurante cerca donde se come super bien también, y fue muy acogedor con nosotros. La única pena es que solo conseguimos reservar 3 noches, ojalá habernos podido quedar toda la semana. Muchas gracias por todo chicos, nos encantará volver

Had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! Location was superb, a great place for exploring easy reach of Chania and Rethymno. The town has 3 eating places, Monica’s was the highlight! Airbnb its self was so peaceful, with amazing views the outside space had been thought through with lovely dining areas and sunbeds, it gets the sun from midmorning to night. Would recommend to anyone, loved it!

Anna und Andreas sind phantastische Gastgeber. Eigentlich halte ich mich mit Bewertungen zurück, aber die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber sind einmalig. Die Location ist einmalig und für eine kleine Gruppe von vier Personen phantastisch. In der Nähe gibt es ein kleines Dorf in dem es neben einem Supermarkt und Bäcker auch eine kleine Taverne gibt. Zum Strand sind es ca. 15 Minuten. Anna und Andreas sind immer erreichbar und geben wertvolle Tips für Ausflüge, Restaurants und alles andere in der Region. Wir werden garantiert noch einmal versuchen in der Villa und den Gastgebern vorbeizuschauen.

we stayed for one night in this beautiful villa and couldn’t have asked for better! It was private and peaceful, and check in was super easy! Our lovely hosts were so flexible with check-in and left us some treats for the stay, and then left us to be at home. It was so nice and clean and was so comfortable, we felt Right at home. Great stay at this lovely traditional villa, everything you could want for a relaxing, stress free holiday was available, plus some lovely welcome gifts. The villa is clearly a well loved family home and was immaculately clean and well presented. Constantine is a superb host - friendly, welcoming and helpful - instantly responded to any questions we had and sent us some great recommendations for eating out, beaches etc. We have no hesitation in recommending Kermes Oak for a memorable holiday in Crete ! Oasis in nature, gorgeous villa with a pool overlooking the sea and hills. We absolutely loved our stay! The house is beautifully decorated, well equiped, there is everything you might need and really comfy bed :-) We loved the pool that has an amazing view. We enjoyed different seating options - 2 terrases, armchairs by the pool, or in shade under the tree.. Nikos and Maria are absolutely adorable! They made sure we had everything we needed. They even bought toys for our kids to play with and prepare new toys for the pool. You feel completely in the nature, in the hills, but you are still 2min from the main road to go places. We will definitely come back!!! :-)
