House holiday rentals in Mara Lake

We had such an amazing time at this home. I don't think the pictures do it justice, it truly felt like a private resort. Incredibly peaceful location with a great view. The private pool, jacuzzi, and sitting areas in the backyard were an absolute highlight for us and the family. The kids could not get enough of the pool. Thank you Jessica for such an awesome stay.

The place is beautiful, well equipped with everything that you might need. The nearby restaurant recommendations by the host was really helpful. We were 5 couples, and we had plenty of space for all of us. A lot of games to play. Good play area for the kids too. A great experience.

Beautiful Heritage Property for a wonderful weekend with friends. Good communication, great amenities. Lovely hot tub and gorgeous living areas. Comfy beds. Superb for large gatherings.

We had a wonderful stay! Pam and Glenn were lovely, had a couple tiny issues but they were dealt with quickly. Pam was always quick to respond, that was greatly appreciated! The home was perfect we loved it! Great view, great pool and great beach! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

This place is an absolute gem—hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The home is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, and fully stocked with every comfort and convenience you could ask for. As someone who really appreciates a good coffee, the high-end coffee machine was a standout feature. You can tell real thought went into making this space feel like home. The location is stunning—breathtaking lake views, peaceful surroundings, and easy access to mountain biking trails, which was a huge bonus. The amenities were outstanding: a pool, hot tub, pool table, theatre room, classic arcade games, and even a Wii console that kept the kids entertained for hours. Hummingbird is great, the dock and slip are the best on Mara, with individual slips per boat which is rare. Ashley is responsive and her place is brand new. Bunkie with the AC was excellent for the kids. Coffee in the morning beside the creek as also a highlight.

Words cannot describe the view! And the beauty of this AirBNB is beyond compare. We had gloomy weather but it was still so beautiful listening to the sound of the rain and watching the clouds roll through the valley. Christine was a wonderful host: Even suprised us with balloons and flowers for our honeymoon (3years later due to Covid), it really made us feel special. Quick communication and care of making sure we enjoyed our stay. And that hot tub!!!! We really hope to be back. Thank you again

Our stay at Cara’s was just what we needed. We had an issue with the internet/tv and Cara came right away to fix it. It was a very nice place to stay.

Dean was a great host! Every time I messaged him he always responded and helped with whatever we needed almost instantly! The place was clean, tidy, had a beautiful location and deck view and had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely would recommend this AirBnB to others travelling this way :)

Had a great vacation! Beautiful spot and easy access down to the lake. Plenty of parking on the driveway for 2 cars and a boat trailer. Week flew by while we were out there, house had everything we needed! Spent majority of time outside on the back deck / patio or down on the dock!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse. It was exactly as described in the pictures and well stocked. The beds were very comfy and plenty of room for our family during our stay. Blind Bay is our favourite spot in BC and this was our first time staying on the other side of the bay. The amenities were excellent, though we did note the road was a higher traffic area than we’re used to. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay again when we come back to the area!!

This Airbnb was fabulous, it was clean and homey, and had everything we needed for our week stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 10. We enjoyed the shaded deck and yard. The location was fantastic with a short walk to the beach and activities in Scotch Creek.

Such an amazing stay!! The location, the set-up and the amenities provided blew our minds! We had everything we needed in the kitchen, in the bedrooms and in the yard. You can tell the owners really know what people want and need when staying at a AirBNB. They provided all the info we needed for food, beaches & more. It was easy to find and such a blessing for our families to come together in a space that we really didn’t have to think about. It was an easy transport to the beach a couple times per day…and they are not lying about 600 steps. The spaces inside were beautifully decorated as well as highly functional. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with appliances and items. The yard was amazing and made it easy for the kids to be entertained. We couldn’t think of a single thing that was missed by the owners. Even the couple random bugs and spiders we knew about and expected as part of being out at the lake. We had three families come together and there was enough space for all. It was great with the younger kids as they could sleep while the adults had spaces to retreat to after bedtime. We plan to book every summer!!

Our two families, both with young kids, had a great vacation here! Lots of extras with the house - beach toys, floating mat, beach towels, books, games - all the good stuff with a lakefront cabin. The beach and water are just wonderful here for swimming and playing. We really enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful home that is fully equipped with anything you could need! The home was spotless and comfortable and very close to the village. Ski in/ski out takes some figuring out, but is totally possible. The layout of the home allows larger groups to have separate spaces yet come together. We would love to stay here again!

Immediately felt like our families lake lot! The vibe brought us all back to when we were younger and it was great to share this with our children. You can tell this place had love and was not just a revenue property. The decks were amazing, in the hot 30-35+ weather, there were multiple places we could sit and enjoy the water or view -> in shade, sun or on the water. 4 kayaks and 2 for the kids were fantastic, we were right across from Cooper Island so it was super easy to kayak or paddleboard then go cliff jumping & hike. Scotch creek was super close for quick groceries, food trucks, live music and even mini-golf. The rooms easily accommodated us (11 people) including family movie night. The place was fully stocked with all kitchen items you could think of (we even did milkshakes and baked cookies) with a large pantry for all the food. Definitely a great location & value.

This is a stunning and secluded spot! The lake is absolutely breathtaking, and it's just a short walk to a fantastic restaurant. The accommodations were spotless and very cozy. I would definitely return!

This property was perfect for our family’s needs. We had 5 adults, 2 kids and a dog. The place was private, well-stocked, comfortable, clean and has such a beautiful view. Natasha left us a bottle of wine and coffee to get us started, which was a great touch. It was wonderful to wake up to the view of the lake each morning. Our family liked the various areas of the house to spread out in. There were more than enough beds and they were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and had all the small appliances and needed. The neighbours were so friendly. The place is well-situated to go to Blind Bay for a swim or many various hikes around the Shuswap. The local store in Blind Bay (I think it’s called Blind Bay Market) was convenient for anything you needed. The area had water restrictions while we stayed there and Natasha quickly provided us with jugs of water, very appreciated! We are looking forward to come next year, this place was perfect! Thanks for having us!
