House holiday rentals in Mara Lake

Cristina's home was perfect for my group's ski trip to Silver Star! Only a 25 min drive to the mountain and a 10 min drive into town. The home itself is equipped with everything you'd need for a relaxing stay. We loved the hot tub and the large yard to play in the snow. The mini horses were absolutely adorable and very friendly! And the views are amazing. We also really appreciated someone coming onto the property to take care of clearing the driveway of snow and maintaining the hot tub on a daily basis. We had such an amazing time at this home. I don't think the pictures do it justice, it truly felt like a private resort. Incredibly peaceful location with a great view. The private pool, jacuzzi, and sitting areas in the backyard were an absolute highlight for us and the family. The kids could not get enough of the pool. Thank you Jessica for such an awesome stay.

we loved the backyard, spent alot of time out there. spacious bedrooms, and living room. Everything worked perfectly for our group. we were a group of 12 and didn't feel cramped at all, lots of places to read, relax,watch TV, or play games. Cory was an amazing host!

The place is beautiful, well equipped with everything that you might need. The nearby restaurant recommendations by the host was really helpful. We were 5 couples, and we had plenty of space for all of us. A lot of games to play. Good play area for the kids too. A great experience.

Dave's property was fabulous...right from our first impression through to checking out. Everything we needed, and more, was provided. So much to do right on the property! The pool, the deck and hot tub, the basketball court and putting green. They thought of everything a vacationer might need. This place is an absolute gem—hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. This place is majestic. We three families and kids had an amazing time here. It’s super spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It is located in the best peaceful location with an amazing landscape. There is a lot to do for the kids including games in the garage area, inside the common area and a very big play area at the back making it perfect for the kids. All the facilities and other amenities are nearby. There’s a lot to do in Vernon. Vernon stood out for us during this trip. Last but not least special shoutout to the host. Very humble, friendly, proactive and generous. It was the perfect hassle-free peaceful leisure one could ever wish for. Would love to visit again. Strongly recommended!

Great suite within walking distance of many awesome restaurants. Heidi was a great host and was very helpful with providing directions and check in/check out details. The place was very clean upon check in and the suite was exactly as described. I would recommended this stay for any small family, couple or individual traveling to the Vernon area for a weekend or an extended period.

Kerri's place was very comfortable, clean and more than adequate space. We appreciated the extras like water in the fridge, coffee available, beach towels and sandals. She thought of everything and so accommodating to special requests. This was my first Air B&B and I will definitely use it again. My whole family shares my sentiments. Thank you Kerri!

Immediately felt like our families lake lot! The vibe brought us all back to when we were younger and it was great to share this with our children. You can tell this place had love and was not just a revenue property. The decks were amazing, in the hot 30-35+ weather, there were multiple places we could sit and enjoy the water or view -> in shade, sun or on the water. 4 kayaks and 2 for the kids were fantastic, we were right across from Cooper Island so it was super easy to kayak or paddleboard then go cliff jumping & hike. Scotch creek was super close for quick groceries, food trucks, live music and even mini-golf. The rooms easily accommodated us (11 people) including family movie night. The place was fully stocked with all kitchen items you could think of (we even did milkshakes and baked cookies) with a large pantry for all the food. Definitely a great location & value.

Jaslyn’s place is wonderful for a stay in Vernon. We used it as a base for skiing at Sovereign lakes.

Kelsey’s place is a gem. Located right by the water on the bay you’re able to walk a short distance to Fins where you’ll find good coffee. You’ll be treated to fantastic views across the bay and will have a thoroughly relaxing evening watching the geese from the beach. The property has been equipped to a very high standard making our stay very comfortable Recommended for anyone wanting to unwind and relax

This is a stunning and secluded spot! The lake is absolutely breathtaking, and it's just a short walk to a fantastic restaurant. The accommodations were spotless and very cozy. I would definitely return!

This property was perfect for our family’s needs. We had 5 adults, 2 kids and a dog. The place was private, well-stocked, comfortable, clean and has such a beautiful view. Natasha left us a bottle of wine and coffee to get us started, which was a great touch. It was wonderful to wake up to the view of the lake each morning. Our family liked the various areas of the house to spread out in. There were more than enough beds and they were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and had all the small appliances and needed. The neighbours were so friendly. The place is well-situated to go to Blind Bay for a swim or many various hikes around the Shuswap. The local store in Blind Bay (I think it’s called Blind Bay Market) was convenient for anything you needed. The area had water restrictions while we stayed there and Natasha quickly provided us with jugs of water, very appreciated! We are looking forward to come next year, this place was perfect!
