Private Basement Apartment in Maplewood

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located 1-bedroom apartment. It is less than a mile to the NJ Transit train station with direct service to NYC, Newark or Hoboken. Restaurants and shops are within walking or quick driving distance. It is a 10 minute drive to Seton Hall University, a 15 minute drive to Newark International Airport, and a 20 minute drive to NJIT and Rutgers Newark. The Garden State Parkway and Rte 78 are are less than 10 minutes from your door.

South Orange Family Home

Located in Academy Heights, South Orange, our home is great for a smaller group—very comfortable for a family of four—to spend time together, complete with a lovingly renovated kitchen to cook and enjoy meals together. The area is walkable, culturally rich and diverse, and very friendly. Centrally-located, the home is walking distance to parks, restaurants, grocery, CVS, and downtown Maplewood and South Orange (SOMA). Just 30-35 min direct train/car ride to NYC; and 45 minutes to Jersey Shore.

Guest Studio w/Kitchenette

Enjoy easy access to NYC and Seton Hall from this perfectly located studio with a private entrance, kitchenette, shower, laundry, and off-street parking. Ten minute walk to the train to NYC/Hoboken and downtown South Orange and two blocks to the supermarket, Italian restaurant and wine/beer/liquor store. Please note that this is a lower level suite - you’ll need to descend 8 steps to access the space. We reside upstairs with our 6 year old & mini-poodle so there may be occasional noise.

Our renovated and stylish home is just a short walk to the ice cream parlor, and the best cafe in town, True Salvage (rated #1 breakfast sandwich in NJ- must try!). Our backyard gate opens out to the beautiful Borden Park- with tennis courts, a playground, and a field for your family to enjoy. At the end of a long day, enjoy our fire pit and grille in the summer or sit by the fireplace in the chillier months.
