Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Manzanillo

The place was great. Full kitchen and two big beds. Outside has a great pool and a seating/dining area. Strong wifi and good hot showers. We used the pool a lot and even though there are several houses close by, the fences and trees made it feel very private. Pool was serviced daily. The place is a little hard to locate, but we got very details instructions that included videos to ensure you found it. Parking was within a gate, so it felt very secure and safe to leave things in our vehicle. It’s not very close to town, but it is walkable (we had a small child with us so we elected to drive the few minutes). We would stay again.

Our stay was nothing short of magical. The place was spotless, cozy, and instantly felt like home. Evenings were spent watching fireflies twinkle in the yard, while some mornings brought the mesmerizing sight of monkeys gracefully moving through the trees, nature’s symphony accompanied us throughout our stay. Itisha, our point of contact, was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond, ensuring our experience was seamless from start to finish. Without a doubt, I’d recommend this place to my friends and would happily return for another perfect getaway. Five stars!

Natacha was great and amazing with us !! She communicated well with us and helped us arrange anything we wanted to do or looking for. If we needed information about anything she was always accommodating us. She did not come back with just one recommendation but several. Always checking in on how we were doing, and if everything was OK, or if we needed anything. La Casa Del Mango was very clean and well organized. The amenities, awesome, well stocked with everything you would need. This whole place is amazing. Oh !! did I mention the pool, amazing. Oh !! did I mention Martin (Natacha husband) super nice, also amazing, Oh !! did I mention the wildlife, amazing. I can keep on going, and going, about La Casa Del Mango in a positive direction but I will end this review with saying that La casa definitely deserves 5 stars out of 5. Nope !!!! no negatives from our family vacation, would recommend to anyone.

The place is beautiful, spacious, full of trees and has a ranch for a cool and pleasant time. The beautiful house, with cute rustic finishes, is well equipped. Luís always answers questions. I would definitely go back.

This stay was absolutely beautiful—far better than the pictures, which don’t capture how lush and grown-in the gardens are now. The space felt perfectly private, yet all the amenities we needed were just a short drive away. It was such a refreshing change from a busy hotel—more peaceful, more comfortable, and really felt like home. One of the biggest surprises was the visit from about 20 monkeys swinging through the trees above us—an unforgettable moment! The vibrant night life in the area also caught us by surprise in the best way. We loved every part of our stay and would absolutely recommend!

Amazing place, host was super friendly and kind

We booked the accommodation very spontaneously and quickly received a reply from Jayr with all the information about Soulence – friendly and uncomplicated. We had a wonderful time at Soulence. The kitchen was very well equipped. We felt comfortable right away. From the kitchen window, we could watch toucans and monkeys.

Wonderful house. The animals on the property are awesome. Meg was a helpful and friendly host. The place is as pictured and described. Fantastic place for jungle immersion, but be ready for all that entails (some bugs and noises). Cocles is a super lively and fun beach and worth a visit. It’s a better place to stay than directly in Puerto Viejo. The house is up a hill a little bit so transport of sorts is recommended.

The place is very nice and clean, matches the description and photos. The girls who work there were so nice and helpful.

Loida was so very kind to us and a very helpful host. She welcomed us in and it instantly felt like a home from home. The place was perfect clean and tidy everyone was friendly and I couldn’t have asked for more.

Our last night on the Caribbean cost & Annie’s place was the perfect choice. She was super accommodating from start to finish and helped to make our first visit to Cahuita memorable. We found the garden apartment clean, comfortable & quiet. Enjoyed the hammock & occasional sounds from nearby Howler Monkeys. Thanks Annie 🇨🇷🇦🇺

It was a perfect stay. The place is even nicer than the pictures. I'll definitely come back. Thanks to the host because she was always attentive to inquiries and gave us local recommendations when requested.

We discovered Jessy's place through Google on the internet. I actually prefer to book directly with the host. Airbnb gets a share of about 20% for each booking. We stayed with Jessy for a week. It's a nice place to stay with a very well-kept outdoor area. For longer stays, the apartment is a bit cramped. I would recommend other guests to book Jessy's larger apartment in this case, as it has a large dining table. A very big advantage was that we could use the communal terrace with dining table. It is located right next to the room. Jessy provides her guests with games, a TV and Alexa. You can also use a large grill on the terrace. The Internet is sometimes disrupted and a bit slow in the region, but Jessy will soon get a fast fiber optic connection. Finally, I can tell you that Jessy is a very attentive and friendly hostess!

Quick attention, nice

I stayed at Manu’s jungle loft for 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. The space is comfortable and rustic, with wonderful views and a very comfortable bed. The beaches nearby are some of the best in the world, and it’s very easy to walk to nearby restaurants or grab a TukTuk any time. Manu and Lucas were kind and gracious hosts. I hope to stay again!

excellent accommodation, great location close to the most beautiful beaches, small beach and reef. it is the second time I have stayed at Apartotel Arena Blanca, I love it, it is a quiet and safe place.

Lovely place. The landscaping is extraordinary and it was so beautiful we spent several days just staying at the house. The hotel next-door was a bonus as it had a bar restaurant where we could order drinks and food and have them delivered to the beach. the beach was empty, but you could walk a mile and either direction to go to a busier beach with beach bars and restaurants. Had a bit of an issue with the pool at one point, but Utopía Caribe, the property manager, was very attentive and remedied the problem to our satisfaction. If you're going to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, rent this house.

Second time staying here and this time we stayed at a larger apartment which was nothing but great! The location is so close to Playa Chiquita which is at a 5 minute walk and so convenient to get around the area to visit other beaches/places. Parking was available and secure. The rooms were spacious with a closet each, hot water in the bathrooms, main rooms had A/C and third one a good fan. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need and a convection stovetop which made cooking fast and easy for 5 people. Adriana was great and so friendly, she even showed me the pictures she took from the sunset which were neat! Overall, I plan on coming back and stay with them again as I find this a great place to stay.

Great place. We are very thankful with the owners

The place was perfect for us. Especially great was the beautiful veranda for the cafe in the morning and the bikes to be flexible and not to have to use a car. We had the apartment in the upper level. There the light and the view of surrounding trees are very nice. The new treehouse is now very close to the Villa. Since it wasn't covered yet, it was very relaxed in the villa. May be different when all rooms are fully booked. Thanks for the great time.

I had a perfect stay in Puerto Viejo and in Ernyk his airbnb. He helped me with extra requests which was very nice. The house is very new and beautiful, a lot of green and animals around + only 5 min bikeride to shops and restaurants. Another plus is the eco friendly elements in the house. I would recommend this place 1000% and hope to return someday.

We absolutely loved staying at Jan's place. Both Jan and Yoshi went above and beyond in answering any questions we had prior to arriving, including providing us a connection to book tours ahead of time. They were also flexible and kind when our plans changed a couple weeks before the trip, and we very much appreciated that. When there, they sent us lots of recommendations for beaches/restaurants, along with answering any questions we had promptly. The house was clean and the gardens were just stunning. With the private gate and location we felt safe staying there, and the possibility to lock valuables up in a safe was a great extra option. We loved being able to just walk a few steps to the beautiful beach even just to have our morning coffee by the water :) All in all, we would definitely recommend staying at Jan/Yoshi's place. The beautiful location combined with the responsive, helpful hosts made our trip so enjoyable. If ever in the location we would love to stay again!
