Monthly Rentals in Manistee National Forest

I am so glad we found this amazing gem! We were looking for a peaceful getaway from the city and boy, did this place deliver and then some. When we walked in, I actually squealed with delight. It looked exactly like the photos, and had so many unexpected touches to make us feel right at home (robes, slippers, wireless charging stations on both nightstands, earplugs, eye masks, personal toiletries… they thought of *everything!*) This was also far and away the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, and it smelled so good I sniffed out the fragrance and wrote it down so we could buy it for our own place. For as amazing as everything was, the crown jewel of the place is the sauna — such a welcome and relaxing luxury that would definitely warrant us booking this place again. Finally, Douglas was an incredibly responsive and helpful host. If this place is available, I’d definitely suggest looking no further — we had such an incredible time!

My wife and I had a very relaxing couple of days here. Easy directions, easy instructions to get inside. Very clean and comfortable, just what we needed for a nice getaway. Definitely recommend. 🙂

We had a great time! My future brother-in-law propose on the dock! First time traveling with a baby, so having a pack and play at the Airbnb was one less thing to pack! The “baby” gates around the porch were perfect for our dogs! They got to hangout and play outside without any worries of them wondering off. A fully stocked kitchen and grill were great! Loved using the kayaks as well! The trek down and back from the water is a little intense and I workout almost every day, so future guests should keep that in mind. Thank you for a great stay!
