If there was a 10 star option, we would choose it. Our experience was simply perfection! George was THE best host we’ve ever had. The accommodations were beautiful. The pictures can’t do them justice. The kitchen was fully stocked as promised. Even some treats and basic necessities (milk, eggs, butter, bread, cereal etc.) and local cheeses and sweets. The bed was so comfortable, I wanted to take the pillows home! The bathroom was very well appointed. The outdoor area was such a treat. Comfortable, very large spaces and we enjoyed the charcoal bbq four times. The view, there are no words! Magganari beach was simply eye candy. We took many deep breathes and smiled constantly looking at what felt like heaven! Everything was spotless, so clean. We caught a cold during our trip and George graciously offered to go into town for us to get us cold and flu medication. When he returned, he came back with more local treats and refused to take money. George, we can’t thank you enough! Just book it

We have never felt so welcomed anywhere as we felt at Heliopetras. We were treated extremely well by Ioanna and Michalis in their little slice of heaven. We laughed a lot and slept so well In this beautiful place meticulously built and designed by the owners. From great recommendations for local food and entertainment to transportation anywhere we wanted to go, we were so well taken care of and safe. There was a feeling of tranquillity and calm. The sunset and view from the property is extraordinary. You will love it. We didn’t want to leave.

Our stay at Maria's apartment was amazing! The peaceful location is absolutely breathtaking, with a stunning view over the sea, and the beach on which it’s located is, in our opinion, the most beautiful on the island. Since there are no grocery shops or gas stations nearby, it's essential to do your shopping and refuel in the city of Ios before heading to the apartment. The small kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. The road to get there is truly scenic, though it can be a bit scary at night due to the lack of streetlights. It’s a 45-minute drive, so it’s often best to have dinner at home. In Manganari, there are two charming taverns nearby. We stayed for 7 nights, which was enough, but we could have easily stayed longer as it was truly beautiful! ✨
