Cabin holiday rentals in Mandeville

We ( myself and 2 of my friends) stayed here for a dog sports event nearby and David was very generous to let us stay, and include our 9 total dogs. Cozy little cabin with all of the amenities and we had a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, as it was the perfect quiet get away we were looking for! Melissa was very responsive to all our questions. The extra little touches in the cabin were very appreciated too! We hope to visit again really soon! Thanks so much, Melissa!

Staying at David's property is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy time with family. Traveling from Brandon, Florida, to Bogalusa, Louisiana, is a big change, but it’s definitely worth it. The property is very family-friendly, with something for everyone—from toddlers to young adults—and plenty of room for adults to unwind, socialize, or even get some work done. I highly recommend David's place; both the staff and other guests are friendly, respectful, and helpful.

The cabin is located in a tranquil rural setting, and the hosts are friendly and easy to get in touch with. Both the Bogue Chitto State Park and supermarkets and restaurants are a relatively short 30-minute drive away. We enjoyed our stay here!

We had a wonderful stay! The place is clean, convenient, and above all super cozy. The location was stunning, with beautiful views of the water and plenty of space to relax. We spent our day running catfish lines and were thrilled to catch 20 catfish! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with great fishing opportunities, I highly recommend this place!

If you are in the mood for a private, relaxing, peaceful, and beautiful stay right next to some very beautiful nature, then this is the place for you and your family. The cabin is really awsome and full of character and has a very comfy and cozy aspect to it as well as a giant window in the living room where you can look out at some beautiful scenery. You can walk out onto the underside deck and swing while looking at the water and wildlife up under a great big cypress tree. It really is gorgeous out there. You are just a short ride to a couple of cities for if you need any amenities. Also, Steve was great! He is a very responsive host that made sure everything was good just after arrival and made sure to let us know if we needed anything. I HIGHLY recommend you staying at LuLu's Loiuisianne Cabin. We loved it!

This is a beautiful place to stay, nestled in the woods draped in Spanish moss, yet just off the major thoroughfare I was traveling. It is inside an RV park and all the other campers there are SUPER friendly, but mind their own business. Nick upgraded us to the 2 bedroom cabin after our first stay at no extra cost and that was such a blessing! (Of course, the boys refused to share a bedroom, so I still ended up on the sofa bed, but it is quite comfy)! Enjoyed cooking in the full-sized kitchen. Would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

One of the best hosts we have ever had! Annalea worked with me for check out for our activities and our pups. Awesome communication throughout! This place is truly a GEM with so many little touches full of character. The property is so well taken care of and she shared she is always making improvements, and you could really tell. Bay St. Louis Beach was so calm and clean, and my dogs loved it. Another great place to add to our favorites. Annalea, thank you so much again for making my Mother's Day weekend as perfect as possible. The girls and I look forward to staying with you again when we are back on the MS Gulf Coast!

We had such an awesome weekend here. Everyone was so nice and so many activities. Something for everyone and got us all off our devices and playing like we were little kids again. Not overcrowded for a spring break weekend either. We will def be back!

Had a wonderful long weekend at Jeanne's cottage. Great view with a great beach just off the back porch. The cabin has plenty of seating and doesn't feel cramped. Window unit A/Cs in each room, so each person can set the temperature how they prefer. The only thing that was a little bit of a surprise is there are are a handful of homes within the same area of land, so you don't have total privacy, but that wasn't a big deal for us. Also, one of the pics shows people on tubes and we were hoping to watch people tubing by the cabin, but that didn't happen. I think the pic was of a family playing in the river and using the tubes provided at the cabin (which was GREAT fun, the river felt fantastic!). Overall, a great place and well worth the price.

thanks a ton for accommodating our group at the last minute. pour place was just what we needed. clean, cheaper than multiple rooms and close to the strawberry festival. hope to visit again

I loved sitting on the porch drinking my morning coffee while enjoying the beautiful lake view! It was quiet and peaceful! Perfect location! Close to adventure, shopping and good food without all the traffic. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again when we down for visits!

We loved our stay in Alexa’s cabin! It’s a beautiful, secluded location right on the river. We had so much fun tubing nearby and relaxing on the floating mat they provided. Our hotspot connection from our phone wasn’t great, but it was nice to unplug for a couple of days and they had a great collection of movies that we enjoyed. The charcoal grill worked great and the cabin was nicely decorated as well. Overall a great place we’d love to come back to.

Tammy & CJ have yet another winner and one we will visit again. This cabin allows you to experience the rustic country side of Louisiana that many may never stop to enjoy, with a laidback down home feeling that’s just far enough from the city to relax but close enough to experience it all. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a modern rustic cabin. The layout was thoughtfully done with the bath and laundry in the master bedroom. The open concept kitchen, dining, and living room allows for plenty of space. The bath towels and linens are premium quality and extremely soft. The wonderful porch and recreation area were such a great addition. We were lucky to have seen this Airbnb transform from its original craftsmanship built by hand, to what it has become today as frequent guests at the cottage next door. If you aren’t sure of the history, there are wonderful articles in the book on the fireplace. Simply put this cabin is the Lagniappe of Livingston!

This cabin is exactly what our family needs when life has been busy. If you're looking for a peaceful place that has privacy, nature, and amenities, this is the place for you. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, refreshing stream, wild blueberries, and large porch. This was our third say there and we'll be back for sure. Patti is proactive and responsive (although we have never had to contact her during our stay). Just book it! It's a wonderful place.

I can't say enough about this wonderful place!!! Peaceful and secluded yet close to our friends in Walker, Denham and Baton Rouge along with drivable to the French Quarter for the day. And the host... amazing! Dropped off fishing poles and bait for my husband to fish with!

Our stay was wonderful! Amanda was super responsive the whole time and very accommodating! Plus the cabin is so cute and peaceful set against the creek! We had a great time ☺️

Beautiful craftsmanship. Excellent location. Greeted by the host and guided through exactly what we needed to know for our stay. Had a great time exploring the property. Saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed fishing in the creek. Outdoorsman’s paradise.
