Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Manciano

Beautiful place, very kind hosts and accommodating. The breakfast was a brilliant extra which we didn’t expect. The village is lovely and has a playground only 5 minutes walk and a little shop for groceries. Great location up in the hills. We would recommend and stay again. Thank you for all your help.

i stayed in Alessandra's apartment with my husband and my brother-in-law and I wanted to visit the area. Perfect place to stay in 4, with the two bathrooms that gave each couple their own privacy. Everything comfortable and very clean, with many details that made our stay easy and very pleasant. The terrace overlooking the countryside and the very enjoyable lake and a real poetry. It was a very pleasant stay in every way!

Piero was very responsive. The property was very well equipped and located on beautiful land - surrounded by vineyards and open space across a valley. It was centrally located for our daily trips around Umbria and surrounding regions. It was very easy to get there from Rome airport. Loved the ability to buy / taste their wine which was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again in our travels through Italy.

We absolutely loved this charming house! It was spacious (3 nice size bedrooms) and 2 full baths, but the living room and kitchen/dining area took our breath away. We were a party of 7 and the place was perfect! The grounds looked like the pictures. Lucca was there to welcome us immediately when we arrived, gifting us with a bottle of wine. He also helped arrange reservations at the local bar because we were hungry but didn’t want to drive to proper restaurants in the area. Would recommend that folks driving in use Waze or Google Maps to be absolutely certain not to miss the left turn to a very small alley/side street. Otherwise it is easy to find and the neighborhood looked charming. We did not get to see the private mini falls & hiking spots in the area because we drove to Pienza, San Quirico, Montepulciano etc everyday. This is a great base to see Val d’Orcia region. Note that Vivo d’Orcia is in a mountainous area so driving includes endless loops. Highly recommend this place!!!

Place is great..... Waking up in the morning and enjoying that view is priceless. There was everything in the house, especially in the kitchen. I think it is strategically located 20/30 from all the main attractions in the area.

Paolo is a great host and his place is first class. He met us at check in, explained everything about the apartment, and had good recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. A 5 minute drive from town it is in a very peaceful location with nice views of the countryside and easy parking. It was perfect for making short day trips to many of the surrounding beautiful walled villages of Tuscany, and was the perfect setting to come back to at the end of the day. The apartment has very comfortable beds and is beautifully furnished. My wife and I found this a perfect place for our 5 days of exploring the beauty of Tuscany. Highly recommend.

Great family run place! Welcomed and greeted by Robert’s mother with a glass of wine that Robert made himself. Robert’s mom doesn’t speak any English but she was just so sweet and welcoming. The view is gorgeous and this place is a true agritiursimo with active vineyard and olive farms. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property, and it was a fantastic experience from every point of view. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing: clean, cozy and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location is ideal, with easy access to nearby shops and tourist resorts. the garden is beautiful and equipped with a barbecue area and the view is open to the valley. Daniela was extremely kind and helpful, responding quickly to all my questions. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay. I look forward to returning, perhaps in the summer.

It was so clean and the welcome drinks and coffee were so good. The bedding is clean and the bathroom is so clean. The food and wine at the restaurant was the best. I definitely want to stop by again next time I'm in Italy.

Denise's place in Castiglione d'Orcia was like staying in a fairy tale. The 7th century fortress/castle behind her place was the back wall of the terrace. And the views looking east overlooked all that one would think of when you think of Tuscany. Every morning I got up and took pictures of the amazing sunrise over the rolling green hills with rows of silver cypress lining dirt roads. Her place is at the top of the hill, right in the middle of the medieval village. You could meander through the medieval pathways imagining you are in a time gone by. It did help keep us in shape staying here because there are a lot of steep uphill walks and lots of stairs, though it is possible to bypass most of them, taking the longer route down to the main piazza. The furnishings also were comfortable and nice, yet period appropriate. Staying here is like living in a history book!

We stayed 3 nights at Ilaria's place. The house is in a quiet residential area of Abbadia, but still close to the center. We found the apartment in perfect condition, tidy and extremely clean, equipped with everything you need for your stay: products for personal hygiene, very well-stocked kitchen and also the necessary for breakfast as well as a nice bottle of 33 cl of welcome prosecco. Flexible and simple self check-in, still present if needed and responsive to our requests. Everything was perfect, Ilaria was an exceptional host!

When you stay with Fulvia you feel like you are a long lost relative coming for a visit! The surroundings are calming and picturesque and the home has a wonderful history as a restaurant. The house is very warm and inviting and spacious but maybe not good for those who crave minimalism. The AC works well and although there is no pool, the hot tub became a nice cool soak at night. She gave us a cooking class which was a wonderful experience and she arranged the menu around our likes and dislikes. She also had great recommendations for towns to visit and places to eat and also organized a wine tour close by. She and her family live on the ground floor, but it still feels private in the outdoor areas. We stayed there after a few days in Florence on our way to Rome and it was half way in between, so it was great location to visit towns on the way in and on the way out.

My family and I we had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa, surrounded by the magical atmosphere of the Umbria countryside. There is nothing we can complain about,everything was perfect,the swimming pool added a plus especially during the 2022 July’s heat wave! The pool was well maintained and daily cleaning service was provided by the owner’s handy man. We really hope to come back next year and make more unforgettable memories at the Hilltop Villa-Orvieto

Great accommodation, equipped with all comforts, I recommend it to anyone who passes through Viterbo. The host was friendly and helpful. The home is as described and photographed.

Superb villa for 12 guests. 10 mns drive to a fabulous town or stay at home in comfort including an excellent pool surrounded by Impressionist views. Teresa is a gem. Pia recommended Eugenio and Pasquale of Italian Show Cooking and they produced a magnificent eight course banquet for my wife's 70th birthday party. This villa holds a very special place in our hearts and the hearts of our guests. Cman you give more than five stars?

First let's talk about the house, a spacious two-story house with beautiful wood/stone architecture. A garden perfect for relaxing with hammock, sunbed and of course the jaccuzi, a haven of peace if you want to have a beautiful landscape and tranquility with birdsong. In addition, I would like to thank Senta for being there for us, to answer all our questions. She is an extremely vigilant person. Finally, thank you to Lorenzo whom we were able to meet who made himself available very quickly when we needed him. He didn't speak very good English which gave a funny situation because we speak only very little Italian, but acts count beyond words. Thanks Senta and Lorenzo. We will be back!!! We had a wonderful time in Tuscany! We were able to make use of the pool on the first day with our two boys, 7 and 4. We visited Pienza, Montepulciano and Montelccino. We also purchased two of the wines from the estate. Alex made everything very easy and was a great host!

Renato was very helpful, his very spacious accommodation is well located and in a very quiet area. Great for groups or even large families!

Fantastic host and beautiful home! Everything was as described and spotlessly clean! High recommend!
