Tucked away on top of a hill, the property is accessed by a long, winding drive through a park-like 3+ acre oasis in historic Germantown. This beautiful renovated apartment is in a lovely location in Roxborough-Manayunk section of Philadelphia. It is huge! 15+foot ceilings and open floorplan allow for the most comfortable space. Staying at Rickey’s Airbnb was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The space was spotless, beautifully styled, and exactly as described if not better. Rickey was an incredible host: responsive, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed, yet quiet enough to relax and unwind. All the little touches fresh linens, stocked essentials, and local recommendations really made the stay feel special. Marcia is such a lovely and kind host, very responsive, flexible and helpful. And her large turn-of-the century house in an historic neighborhood is pretty special. This was the first time I had stayed in an owner-occupied Airbnb and I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a memorable experience. Marcia was friendly and welcoming, and I felt very comfortable and at-home while staying with her (and her sweet cat, Oscar). I would definitely stay again.

Molly and Dan are fantastic people. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like a party of the household. The house is full of warmth and charm found in antiquity. They’re black cat was super friendly. Would 100% recommend a stay at the James Matthew’s house. Beautiful garden, private covered porch, and so many snacks!!

This is a great find. It's hard to find affordable places to stay in Manyunk, which is a fabulous neighborhood. The room was as advertised -- clean, easy to find, very quiet andhad everything I needed.

Spacious Light-Filled Room in Philly Home

My week-long stay at Jason's house felt like home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the private bathroom had amazing water pressure, and there was a mini-fridge and ac unit. I really liked having space in the kitchen/larger fridge for my food as well. If you're a bit of an introvert like me, don't let the fact that the entire place is not solely yours sway your decision stay. Jason's two cats were super friendly. I appreciated that a security bar was made available for the bedroom door but never felt the need to use it. Jason was an excellent host – always happy to chat and give tips when we found ourselves in the same room. I was grateful that he texted instead of knocking. He quickly responded to any logistical questions I had. His home is vast and beautiful, filled with amazing art and numerous plants. I really enjoyed my stay and didn't want to leave. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area. I wish Jason could decorate my home!
