The unit was cosy and well-designed. Perfect for a short getaway. We booked last minute and were so grateful for how smooth everything was. Waking up to the sounds of local wildlife made it feel like a peaceful retreat. A charming spot with everything we needed, set in a beautiful, natural setting.

This lovely self-contained studio apartment is ideal for a solo traveller or couple who's looking to explore the beautiful Malmsbury-Kyneton area. I visited for genealogicial research and to get to know the area, and I wasn't disappointed. The accommodation is ideal for walking into the village, and for walks to iconic local places such as the Malmsbury Common, Viaduct, Reservoir and Botanic Gardens. Autumn colours are resplendent in May and it was an enjoyable visit. The room is modern, clean, warm and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Neroli and Lance assure privacy and provide supplies for a wholesome breakfast. Fairies magically appear after breakfast to take away the tray with dishes, and return it later with fresh supplies.

A friend and I stayed at Yvonne & Darren’s for a relaxed weekend away from our families, and it was the perfect, cosy cool weather escape. Yvonne’s* countless thoughtful touches made us both feel very welcome and special, it was a bit like a treasure hunt as they revealed themselves one after another. Comfy beds, a hot shower, a game of Scrabble and warm drinks, it was a very easy house to just hang out in and enjoy. Not mentioned in the brochure is the beautiful pooch next door, he is magnificent and so friendly 😍 Thanks for a wonderful stay at lovely Leila! *I went out on a limb and assumed not Darren’s work ;) but if I’m wrong I stand corrected!

We chose this place as it was located between Macedon and Daleysford. Just a short drive away for both locations. We have the whole place for our family. Instructions were clear and the place not difficult to find. House was cozy with good amenities. My daughters loved the 2 horses who will always get close to us whenever we leave the house. The wifi didn't work and Casey did respond to our initial query. But as we have own mobile data it did't really matter much to us. A bit cold as the heater took time to warm up but the blanket was sufficient to provide warmth. Overall, we enjoyed our stay as we have access to the entire farm. We would have enjoyed a clearer star gazing if not for the clouds.
