The HomesteadExcept for my bedroom my home is yours to enjoy. It is a small cozy house in the quiet little community of Sunset. It is a beautiful area (a photographer's dream) with lots of wildlife (deer, moose, coyotes, pheasants.....) and no traffic. The bird song here just before dusk is incredible. :) I work on the Olympic Peninsula, so will not be there when you are; but I have family next door to manage things and they will be available to answer any questions you might have.
Eagles NestThis is a tiny studio on the ground floor of a quadplex. The building is next to a fraternity and there can be music and young adults playing basketball, etc. The space is cozy and best for just one person, though 2 can work. Well behaved pets are welcome but my homeowners insurance does have breed restrictions. There is no fence but there is grass for your pet, (please clean up after them). If you have special requests let me know and I’ll do my best to make sure I give you a 5 ⭐️ experience.
Hughes Historical Centennial Family FarmThe Hughes Family Farmhouse is situated among the rolling hills of the Palouse Empire, surrounded by barley, wheat, and garbanzos. It is conveniently located just one mile off Highway 195, 15 miles north of Colfax, about ½ way between Spokane and Pullman. The Farm is a recognized WA State Centennial Farm. You’ll be staying in the homestead house where the Hughes family originally homesteaded the property in the mid-1800s. Steptoe Butte and Rosalia historic sites are within easy driving distance.
