Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a relatively new log villa in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and spacious. There is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen downstairs. There's plenty of room and sleeping places in the loft. A new beach sauna and terrace will be built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the comforts of modernity, and the large windows open up to a great lake view in two directions. In the heat of the fireplace, it's nice to watch the aurora borealis and listen to the silence. There are no neighbors nearby.

Views from the windows towards Iso-Syötte. Car and bikes can be covered in the carport. There is a heated storage room available on the work floor, along with the option to service recreational equipment. You can access the trails and walking paths from the front door. Final cleaning and linen can be arranged for an additional fee.

Porotieva - Reindeer Retreat Lakeside

Private new beach cottage on a large plot, amphitheater-like location on the shores of the very clean Lake Livojärvi, on the Lapland Riviera. Two saunas (wood-heated and electric-heated) and a hot tub. You may see reindeer right in the yard of the cottage. During the summer season (May to August), we offer two SUP boards, a boat and fishing gear. During the winter season, we offer a few snowshoes, skis and poles for skiing, as well as fishing equipment for ice fishing. The property has a hill and stairs.

You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!
