In addition, due to the enforcement of the new Private Lodging Law (Residential Accommodation Business Law) on June 15, 2018, government agencies are required to fill in the list of guests, and foreigners who do not have an address in Japan are required to present their passports.Therefore, we ask for permission to fill in the guest list and present your passport and copy at the time of staying.We appreciate your understanding.

The cottage is located on the hill of Old Karuizawa. It's a old two-story wooden house with cooking utensils, washer/dryer, WIFI, and heating system for winter stay. It's 10-15 minute drive from Karuizawa station, yet please be careful for the narrow steep road on the way. It is difficult to come on foot. Also, please check in while in light because the forest darks at night. You may see seasonal trees, wild birds, and small animals from windows. This is a cottage for nature-loving guests.
