It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. There is a small gravel garden. There is a convenience store within a 5-minute walk. There are few cars and it is located in a quiet residential area, so you can relax.
