My daughter stayed at Brandon’s for a month while she was working at one of the local hospitals. He was a great host! Very kind and responsive to any questions she had. He gave her some recommendations on places to go and see as she was not from the area. His place is very nice, clean, and quiet. She felt pretty safe as a young single female knowing that Brandon and his family were right next door if she needed anything. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay again if I was ever back in Dunbar!

We love staying here when we come into town to visit family. we feel right at home and my kids love it.

Off the beaten path, about 25-35 minutes outside of Charleston, which was fine with me. The cabin was small but didn't feel cramped the way it is laid out and decorated. Comfortable bed on the main level. I didn't use the bed, possibly an air mattress in the loft. No way I could have at 6'2 - probably best for kids, but safe with the rails. Decent size shower for my size, no width issues. My stay was after some snow so I didn't get to venture back to the stream that runs behind. The wall unit struggled a bit on the first night when the temps were at or near 0. However, once I looked at an online manual for it, I changed the fan speed from auto to manual on the remote which took care of it. Generally a cozy spot, well worth it. And Vincent is in the process of making a twin cabin for it next door. No issues!
