Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Madawaska Valley

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

It was a beautiful location - both inside and the view - and we really enjoyed our time there for our honeymoon weekend. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return in the future!

A wonderful cottage on a very peaceful lake.

Helena was amazing. Exceptionally helpful and accomodating when we ran into issues on our end. Would definitely recommend this location and definitely would return!

Courtney’s spot was very comfortable to stay. The kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were a great size and rooms were very nice Upon booking we felt very welcomed. Access to coffee other items were very much appreciated

A beautiful get-away in the country! Second time visiting - first for a nearby wedding, and this time to host a visiting chef, and celebrate a birthday! A cozy get-together in a beautiful home and gorgeous surroundings. Couldn’t have been a more perfect venue!

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved this cottage and this is our second visit this time of the year. There is beautiful large table to serve meals, spacious kitchen with plenty of storage place and 2 fridges. Cozy atmosphere with a wood burning fireplace and an additional playroom/ family room. There is plenty of outdoor activities including walking, skiing (Sir Sam’s is nearby), cross country skiing or skating. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

This place was perfect to meet our needs. It was very clean and very comfortable. There were so many options for seating. Open concept so you could enjoy being together. It was easy to find. Quiet apart from the traffic on the road. The kitchen was well stocked to with anything we would needs. We will absolutely be booking this place the next time we visit our family.

Loved my stay here! The place is modern, super clean, and feels very new. Big windows with a beautiful lake view—such a great way to start the day. Kitchen was fully stocked, and I loved having smart TVs in both the bedroom and living room. It’s only a 15-20 min drive to downtown, and check-in was super smooth with the code sent ahead of time. Would definitely come back!

Such a wonderful getaway this last weekend! The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described—if not better. It’s clear that a lot of care and thought has gone into making guests feel at home. Great place by the water I really like it

I can’t say enough other than I felt like we went to our families house for the weekend. Her and her husband made us feel right at home. She had homemade brownies waiting for us and greeted us when we arrived. There was nothing missed in the way they have this set up. The most above and beyond experience with a beautiful breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Rungarune’s! My husband and I were snowmobiling for a few days and this was a great location to base ourselves from. Rungarune’s was a short walk from where we parked our snowmobile trailer and the accommodation had everything we needed and more. Warm and welcoming and fully equipped it was just what we needed after a long day on the sleds. Rungarune went above and beyond with a nice note upon arrival to let us know that we could help ourselves to the food goodies in the kitchen which included some lovely fresh fruit, croissants, eggs, muffins etc that were a real treat. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Excellent visit and impressive skiing for Ontario

Great location if you want to stay and ski! You can see the lifts from the kitchen table which makes it a prime place for a little ski vacay. The condo is exactly like the photos and Melanie is a great host. A couple things to note; if you are sensitive to light bring a sleep mask especially if you are using the pull out couch. Also it is the lower unit so it can be noisy depending on if there are neighbours above, so ear plugs or a white noise machine might help.

We had a great time at Breathe Vacation Rental’s unit. It was very clean and as expected. Very nice to have a pet friendly place steps from the ski hill. We will definitely be renting again in the future!

The stay was great, everything was exactly as posted. The view from the living room is the golf course, and the bedroom overlooks the lake. Both views were great. Dillon was very responsive, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow, including parking, WiFi etc. Most importantly, we were able to bring our dog with us. It was a huge relief to find a nice spot where we could be with our pet. The water took a bit to get used to, but there is a cooler for spring water, so really, that was fine.

Highly recommended, literally steps from the ski lift. I hope to return.
