Cabin holiday rentals in Madawaska Valley

We got a last family get away before our girls go off to college. It was a beautiful spot to play games, enjoy a slower pace and get some quality family time together. We fished, read, played games and just enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the area. Alex and Violetta were super responsive to the questions that I had. Beautiful home and lots of thoughtful amenities.

It was another enjoyable stay. This is our second time staying at Micheal’s listing here in Norland. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed all the amenities. Thanks again for the relaxing getaway :)

Absolutely beautiful cabin! We had such wonderful stay. You thought of everything. Kitchen was very well stocked. The hot tub was amazing. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Wonderful place to spend some relaxed days in the beautiful Canadian nature. The cottage was fully equipped, neat, cozy and lovingly decorated. Exactly as shown on the pictures. Nothing was missed. Charlotte and Cindy replied within shortest time and provided all relevant information well in advance. We enjoyed the stay from the first minute and couldn't imagine a better place for our vacation. Hope to come back!

We loved our mini getaway! We had everything we needed and more! Sleeping was a dream. Comfy bed (and cozy couch!) Chilled by the fire…. Wandered the road…. Peaceful vibes. Kyle and his wife have thought of everything….from the record player to playing some cards by the fire! Thank you for hosting us. Stunning area, amazing location, and fantastic amenities. Very well thought out layout. Going from the hot tub to the sauna was so good after a long day of 4wheeling. Every question is answered in the guest book. When we didnhave a question Meghan took care of if asap. Thankyou Meghan and the owners for such a beautiful spot. Ben and the 4 wheeling gang.

We had a great stay at Jolene’s cabin! The place was clean and well-kept, and it had everything we needed in the kitchen, which made cooking super convenient. The view was beautiful, and we really enjoyed being so close to the lake. The loft was a charming and cozy touch—we loved the layout. While we didn’t end up using the wood-fired hot tub, it was a unique feature that added to the rustic feel of the place. Jolene was very responsive and helpful when we reached out with questions about firewood. Overall, a lovely spot to relax and unwind. If we’re ever back in the area, we’d definitely consider staying here again!

We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

I had a great time on my mini vacation at this property. Very relaxing, lovely little property and easy to get to. Felt very private even though it was close to other homes.

My partner and our dog spent a long weekend at Peter's cabin in the woods in mid-June, and it was perfect! Very private but only a 10 minute drive into Bancroft which had everything we could possibly have needed. Beautiful space (indoor and out) with everything we could have possibly needed. It's a perfect location for a weekend getaway! There was a booklet with clear instruction on the wood-burning fire, generator and battery, and the water situation, as well as a map of the property. We tried getting to 'beach 2' but there wasn't a clear path and couldn't find it, but the main beach was a 5 minute walk away and was beautiful, Completely private, sandy, and with clear water that was great to swim/float around in. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend getaway, and will almost definitely come back. Just make sure you keep the bug spray nearby!

We had a lovely stay at Natasha's. Home was very new, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Just loved admiring all the beautiful trees! We had a dog with us and walking around the surroundings was so peaceful. Sauna/spa was great after a long walk. Very close to Haliburton and Minden. There is a very nice country market nearby as well. Highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful retreat with a modern touch.

What a beautiful spot! We had such a lovely time and the cabin had everything you need for a great weekend. Megan and Cathy were so kind and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing time here! From the moment we arrived, it was peaceful and quaint. Walking in to cabin, it was far better than our expectations and the pictures posted. The big windows and open concept kitchen/dining/living room was amazing! We could see and hear nature without having to be in nature. Caitlin was a great host! Super attentive, friendly and responsive when we reached out. We will definitely be back! Would recommend this cabin a million times over!

If you want to have a proper Canadian Shield experience, Hailee's cabin is a fun destination. It's a cozy stay and fits the bill with the " off the grid" experience as the main quirks are solar and rainwater and a fun little road to get to. There's much to do around if you come prepared in a area that might feel overlooked. Hailee is very responsive and fun to deal with. Make sure you bring bug repellant otherwise you might find your stay miserable.

From the second we arrived Monica made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were showed to our private cabin overlooking the lake, given a quick tour of the amenities and settled in for an incredible stay. The site and the views are just like the pictures, but better in person. Kitchen was stocked with necessities and a few small appliances, propane full for the BBQ and outdoor shower water heater. A hammock, deck and private dock all within feet of the cabin as well. I really want to stress how great of a host Monica was. Thank you for helping make such a memorable trip for us. 10/10 recommend. can't wait to come back!

Great host, great chalet, great time. Good vibes and views. Kitchen is well equiped. Home feels meant to be lived in, not a cookie cutter air bnb providing the bare minimum. Theres a clear attention to detail. As a boardgamer, I saw this most of all in their inspired game selection that fit nicely with the aesthetic. I was surprised when they already had 3 games that i brought and a few more that i left at home. Just be prepared for black flies and misquitos in May if youre coming with a dog.

We had a great stay at Quianna's cozy and warm little cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept. She informed about the shops and restaurants nearby and that they shutdown early so we could plan accordingly. Best place to stay while you explore the Algonquin park highway 60 corridor.

As described, it is a lovely cabin. We had a very cozy weekend. Marilyn and Svinda made sure that we have enough firewood and the fireplace made it so warm inside that we almost forgot it was -20 C outside! :) Marilyn and Svinda were super nice, kind, and helpful. We were introduced to their two mini donkeys and we could even take a lovely walk with them! There were also three outdoor gorgeous cats, good news for cat-lovers. Highly recommend this place!

This is a wonderful and cozy cabin experience for a group of 4. The place has a lovely history and is preserved that way with attention to aesthetics that take you back in time. Debbi is a warm host and although we didn’t get to meet in person she was quick to respond and provided all the necessary details during our stay. Good parking space, private location and beautiful nursery and nature around the property. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Algonquin provincial park during the fall season. We had a great stay. Small little cabin but had everything you could possibly need. Inside the cabin. The indoor wood burning stove was excellent and cozy. We brought wood from home however they do offer wood at a cost if need be. If you're looking for a quaint little cabin that has all the amenities, I would highly recommend this place!

Hilltop Cabin is such a hidden gem! It is exactly as described. Tucked away and surrounded by trees; we found it so peaceful with only the sounds of the birds, loons and very friendly chickens. Saw a deer cross the driveway as we arrived so that was a treat. Jenn is such a great host and provided every amenity you could possibly need, plus fresh eggs and other goodies. The host family is on the property but we never heard or saw them except for a much appreciated visit to advise us of a brief power outage. We are already planning to stay at this cabin again in the future. Were there any negative issues? Only the score in the hockey game!!

I had a great stay at Red Pine Retreat. The location and setting is secluded enough to be very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is prepared with everything you need for an off-grid yet comfortable stay. Even though I travel well prepared and have all the light/water/equipment needed for this type of stay, I appreciated the battery/solar lighting available in the cabin and outhouse as my stay was later in the year when it gets dark fast and it helped when arriving and setting up. The BBQ with side burner was also very handy to have. Olivia is a great host and responded to questions very quickly. I would definitely come back to enjoy this beautiful place.
