Monthly Rentals in Machias Bay

The Cottage was exactly what we were looking for to stay in the area for the night after attending the NHS Graduation ceremony. The cabin had all the amenities of a home with the distance from town to give it an "off the grid" feeling. Beautiful area! The host was very responsive, and we would definitely rent from this host again, either the cottage or the house on the same property. Worth checking out for sure!!

Julie and Rich are amazing! The boat house was the exact little cottage on the bay you expect it to be and more. From the decor to the recommendations they gave, we felt right at home. They furnished the place perfectly with antiques and art. Highly suggest booking and exploring their recommended list. Everything we did blew us away and the people just made it even better. We felt like we were at home and hanging with our neighbors. They also left little surprises everywhere so make sure you keep and eye out for any hiding spots. Their process was simple and easy. There was not a question to be asked besides how can we be friends with julie and rich? Not to mention the views. They told us to keep an eye on the field and sure enough we saw a mama deer and her babies. If you’re on the edge of booking, the view alone is worth it. Be sure to check out Captain Johns Sailboat tour and Gale at Lubec brewing. we never had to ask ourselves what should we do, the locals will tell you.

it was our first vacation and it was real treat! great location and the view is gorgeous! We look forward to coming back! And also joel was super helpful and gave plenty of great places to eat and the state parks he recommended were gorgeous. if you go to helens try the blue berry pie!

Melissa was a wonderful host. Her place is clean and well stocked with useful and thoughtful items. Melissa was very helpful with local recommendations and reached out to help us troubleshoot dinner options when the power in town went out. Would definitely stay here again. Five stars all around!
